I knew there was a very small chance that any of these CM's / devs, were actively playing their priests in end game content, but it is becoming more glaringly blatant that they are completely out of touch with the priest class.

Whether it is just now acknowledging problems with shadow fiend, adding 25 healing to worthless spell, completely ignoring the armor benefits of innerfire compared to other classes, and/or the lack of direction in the Discipline tree.

So ... I thought about it a little more , and I'm wondering if these guys even attempt the end game content and participate in arenas with other classes.

Any idiot that has been to Kara could tell you shadow fiend does not work with CC targets. You do not have to be a priest.

Any idiot, who has participated in PVP in the last year, can tell you the 10 % dmg increase we receive from mellee targets due to the Burning Crusade, is a MAJOR NERF to the priest class. You can easily see as a mellee class how easy a priest's health drops, and easily as a priest see the white mellee hits catching up to the healing out put we have.

Any idiot, can look at the paladin, shaman and druid resto trees, and see how the talents actually help those classes when they heal.

So for the love of god, lets get some CM's / devs that play the game, much less the priest class, because the nerfs / buffs that are being applied, are WAY out of touch.

Sorry priests, they were busy doing this

Q u o t e:
"Lifebloom": Each additional application of this spell will now include the full bonus from effects which increase healing. The final heal, however, is still unaffected by stacking multiple applications of this spell.

Before you druids get a permanent erectin though, consider how long it will be before they use the additional healing as justification for increasing the mana cost.

Don't be so naive as to think they are gonna allow you to impliment a 400+heal per second spell for 176mana*3, then another 176 mana every 7 seconds to maintain it.

Priests should be careful how and when they use the shadowfiend. With that being said, we are improving the shadowfiend's AI next patch so that it ignores cc'd targets.

Concerning the discontent surrounding the 41-point talent, Circle of Healing, it's important to note that we're simply taking small steps to improve the ability. If it turns out that the improvement to efficiency and small increase to healing done are not enough, we'll make further adjustments as necessary.

Other improvements are being looked into as well, as we've stated in the numerous times in the past. This includes talents in both the discipline and holy trees. Also, it's likely that at some point in the future, you'll see additional improvements to priest racials.

It's very important to remain patient.

So keep paying the monthly fee, then in 12 months, we'll give circle of healing 10 more healing done, and reduce the mana cost by 5. K thanks.

LOL. Blizzard has been out of touch with Shaman even before their non review. I feel for Priests but please get in line...

Eyonix saying we should be patient? Wow. How about waiting 2 years for Blizzard to fix your class then being ignored every time we ask for any form of communication...

Remain patient? Since when have WoW players even started out patient?

Priests of all varieties really don't want to play their characters anymore. Is this "working as intended?"

I have about 90 minutes left on my subscription and actually haven't played in over a month (I logged on today, that was it).

It's really gotten that bad.

Most of the respected priests have quit this game or rerolled another class (see: Beckon, as an example).

I guess the saddest part is that every class in the game realizes this at this point.

Too late for me. /wave

Paladins should not be better healers then Priests

Your character can eat and drink at the same time.

Too bad you guys don't use the same approach to shaman. 10% chance to 100% clearcast to 100% clearcast on spell crit to 60% clearcast on spell crit. In the span, of what, 6 weeks?

The problem Eyonix is that you say stuff like "we're looking into lightwell" every patch and a year and half later...well you're still looking into lightwell.

But a Six Hundred Seventy percent nerf to one of our core new spells in the expansion is tossed in with less than a week of testing.

Why do you guys do massive nerfs and then piddle little buffs? I mean who sat down and said "I think 25 more healing on a spell will take it from useless to 41-point quality?" IT doesn't make any sense.

EDIT - I just wish there was CM that PvPd on their priest. The few blues that actually play priests are solid PvEers and they of course don't spec holy since CoH sucks.

Since the priests got a blue answer, can I get an answer on behalf of the paladins as to why the devs hate us and nerfed us hardcore this upcoming patch?

Stasia - Canoness of the Adeptus Sororitas of Knights of Heaven
Natallya - Still reigning Black King (guild leader) of Knights of Heaven
Tenkai - male belfadin who HAS a scrunchy (suck it.)
