World of (another W word rhyming with war)craft star Mia Rose has been banned from World of Warcraft. Mia Rose is a hardcore gamer as well as being a pornstar, who appeared in several episodes of World of (that word)craft.
Rose told the website Kotaku.com that she was banned from the World of Warcraft over the weekend after a fan recognized her and mentioned her website in a public chat area.

Is that really fair? Someone who plays the game and is in an adult movie which parodies it is banned? She was in the movie, she didn't produce it.

I saw that too, i found it incredibly unfair to her.

I also thought i read that she got SHE got banned, Because another player spammed her site.

Sorry, but plenty of people care. If this story is accurate, that seems really unfair. There must have been some kind of extenuating circumstance involved, though...I've seen some pretty nasty offenders get off without a ban. Blizzard doesn't slap bans on people lightly.

I highly doubt she was suspended for simply being a ****star. We don't have the entire story but I'm willing to bet there's more to it.

You don't get banned for somebody saying something.

i.e. if Player A is legitimately playing, and Player B starts saying false things, does Player A get banned?
Think about it. If a player accuses you of hacking in WSG and you weren't doing anything wrong, do you get banned? Or how about it somebody is yelling bad things about you in Trade Channel, and you didn't say anything at all? Do you get a message from a Game Master?

And what is this "appeared in several episodes of World of Warcraft"? That just didn't make sense.

Bliz reminds me of the US government. Does a bunch of outrageous and unfair things but in the end people (citizens) don't care/remember a few days later.
