I made my comment becuase in all of these Mech posts, there are always stupid rogues who say exactly what i quoted before.

Last month called, they want their new material back.

It's not that efficient. It takes longer than 6 minutes, and if the chest is in the "tricky" part, it can take awhile. Also there is a limit to how many instances you can enter in an hour.

I've done it more than 25 times and I've only gotten one rare equip, and a handful of rare gems.

With all that said, it's a nice small income, but it is not ruining the game.

On average even with greens only from the chest, you get around 32g just from the gold drops. Now say you d/e every green (Arcane Dust goes for 2g a piece and GPE's go for 5g a piece on my server) and get 12 arcane dust (4x per 4 green) and then 1 GPE, that is about 60g. Now more than likely you'll get more arcane dust and whatnot. On my server non of the blues you get really sell for much more than the price of large prismatic shards, so I shard everything.

In 2 days I've came up with 180 Arcane Dust, 32 GPE, 10 LPS. That's about 600-700 gold. Not to mention all of the gold from actually looting the chest I have sold 1 blue on the AH, equipped one, and I have one on AH right now.

It's really quite easy once you've done it a couple of times. I usually do it fully geared cause I rarely die now, and I'm not spec'd sub. Granted there's a lot of better ways to make money, I would probably make more money mining on my server because not alot of people farm ores. It gets boring really quick though.

Easy to get without the gloves, just might have to wait longer. I don't fail too much without em, maybe I'm just lucky.

Just signed on this morning, and before I did my first run I went to mailbox and the Bringer of Death staff had sold for 100g, my first run another dropped ^__^. I went from 500g after buying flying mount to 2k in 3 days'ish.

Gah! i got Rick Rolled!!

Yeah the blue's that drop there other than Ced's Carver and Bringer of Death sell for like 25-30g on here tops. That's why I now just shard everything, people will always need LPS, and it's good to save for enchants later on, the way it's looking now all I'm going to need now to get my 2x mongoose is the V.C's

I have a question.

Is there the same chance for an epic drop from the chests as there is from killing mobs? I have never personally heard of an epic from a chest, just curious.

Coming from one of the original dirty dozen servers, I'm not too concerned with "ruining the economy".
Since day one there have been ninja looters, gold farmers, and whole gold farming guilds ruining the economy. Right now lvl 19 twink swords sell for more then Ced's Carver and Bringer of Death.
Anyone else see a problem with that without us rogues ruining it?
