You are not losing any mounts. Instead of being items in your bag, you learn them as spells upon first use I think. They will be in a new tab labeled mounts.
Also, in WotLK, you are not allowed to use flying mounts till lvl 77 I think and only after doing a quest. So no drake till that point for northrend.
So no, you still get to fly your drake, but it won't be in your inventory anymore and can't fly it in northrend for a bit.

I think the OP was saying he/she thinks you won't be able to get a NW, not that Blizz will delete the one you have.
ONLY the ZA Bear Mount is getting removed from the loot table.
Blizzard feels it's a prestige item that they don't want to become too easy to get... although go to Stormreaver and there's dozens of the things everywhere and they are readily sold...
The Netherwing Mount is no prestige, it's just rep and it will be just as hard to get when you are over level 9000 as it is at level 70.
Well to clarify what i was saying: The rumor on our trade channel is that you will no longer be able to obtain a netherdrake mount. As is the quests and the facton are being taken out of the game so there is this mad scramble right now for everyone to get a netherdrake mount now while they still can because if you don't get the mount soon you will never be able to. Personally I think it is just a rumor but I wanted to see if anyone has any offical info statig that people will not be able to have a netherdrake mount in the future if they do not already have one. My main already has her drake and this toon is wanting a war hippogriff from the CE so it doesnt effect me directly but I would like to calm some of my guildies down about this rumor because a few are in panic mode right now because they really want the dragon mount and i would feel bad for them if they couldn't get it if they are willing to put in the effort to obtain it.

We don't have any current plans to remove the ability to get the Netherdrakes in Outland, we'll let you know if anything changes.
