Again, Blizzard is to be congratulated for another great cinematic.
The quality is fantastic, the strands of hair on Arthas' fur-lined boots moving in the wind, ditto his hair, the individual snowflakes merging into Frostmourne, the steam coming from Arthas' nose; kudos to the visual department!
Great music!
It's an intelligent cinematic, one that has Blizz telling its players, "You're smart enough to get this."
Well, judging by some posts, that might have been an overestimation, but the thought is appreciated.
Newcomers will realize that something has gone horribly wrong. Veterans will be able to savor the depth of irony and tragedy as Arthas' is addressed by the Father he would murder. The menace that exists here should be visible for all.

Definitely cool, but doesn't have the same, "you are not prepared" effect as Illidan. In particular, I was kinda shocked that there were no scenes involving horde or alliance at all, and that there wasn't even a token, "by plague and by fire, we shall cleanse Azeroth of the living."
Maybe it's just having played Warcraft III that spoiled me. The whole Arthas' father thing is still familiar. The trailer might work better for somebody with no background in the lore...

Utter crap. This is far too subtle for something that we have let grown in the background for far too long. All you give us is a giant frost wyrm and an undead horde? I COULD HAVE SWORN I'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE.

Horrible.
Hackneyed and trite storyline getting rehashed, now with more snow!
edit: Blizz, you guys are literally the best in the business at what you do. Your gameplay, the wonderful mix of action and comic sarcasm, is second to none. Unfortunately, this trailer showcased neither of those.
Next time leave the storytelling to such "masters" as J.K. Rowling.
