THE RULES ARE FOR A 25/10 MAN SPEEDCLEAR:

¤Either a Fraps or a WWS will do for proof of a speedrun. WWS can be found here: http://wowwebstats.com/ (wws is best as its easy to link and to maintain)

¤This competiton is now open to Both EU and US.

¤For WWS it is best if you use atleast 1-3 people in the raid to record the run to make it more accurate and not to miss any vital information for me to be able to clearly validate your speedrun.

¤The clock starts ticking when you hit the first mob or get hit by it and the clock stops ticking when the last boss dies. This is the cleared time used.

¤The WWS should be a registered one to have it hosted on if you do want it to be public, BUT there once i have validated it, the record stays. (Edit 13/8-08)

¤The WWS MUST contain all bosses recorded Deaths, not missing small fraction of the hp and such. (IF its a pre 2.4 kill you need to state it in your report with the wws that i need to check it.)
And the post MUST contain timemark of first dmg on first Mob and death of the last boss so i can compare! ONLY exception is Kalecgos since there is a malfunction that does not record the death/defeat of kalecgos if you are inside when he dies.

¤You will be required to have a timermod running in the game if you are recording it ingame, clearly visable to make it able to determine if its a real run or a edited run. Ct_Timer is atm the official timer to be used if you are recording it : http://www.ctmod.net/download/13/

¤A full run will mean a kill of all the bosses, NOT all trash.

¤You should not have more then 1 person recording the run as any pov switches will be disallowed.

¤The resolution of the screen will have to be high enough to make it more then visable for the watcher.

Heroic 16 Rulebook

1: On a Heroic 16 (ill call it this for future reference) you will start your wws when you enter the first instance, the clock will start when you get into combat with the first mob. The clock stop when you kill the last boss of the last instance in the heroic 16.

Q: How to solve it with the wws? Simple, either you startcombatlog at first boss, note the time on a bit of paper to make it easier for yourself to solve it afterwards, put the times in when you hit the first mob in the first heroic, second heroic, third heroic etc. The same with each boss in each instance. this will make it alot more easier for me. also there is ofc the logout/login cheat so you can save the wws and change the name for it. Yes its gonna be 16 diff wws but thats easy if you have enough time to put into 16 heroics you can probably be bothered with doing 16 wws.

2: Between the bosses, there will be a timestop. YES a timestop. Mind that this is mostly to prevent people to include warlocks summons, mage required to be in the grp to make the movement faster this is to equalise the way its made to finish it. HOWEVER, to counterpart this, a heroic must be cleared in less then 16 hours.(i doubt any heroic this day takes more then a hour for a speedcleared anyways) When the clock starts on the first heroic, thats t-minus 16 mark. So yes, small breaks will be allowed but use them smart, use them efficent and get below the 16 hour mark in total. What will be counted together is the time in each instance it will take for first mob to last boss to die.

A: This basiclly means you got enough time to logout, save your combatlog in another name, start the game again, get to location and start logging again.

NO! not a single substitute. Not a single "woops he dc:ed lets change him for another CC" No no no no.
All the wws must contain the same setup. So choose your grp setup carefully and with reliable people that doesnt dc and disappear.

4: Screenshots are always nice! try and include a ss from first boss and last boss killed (first heroic and last heroic) to make a nice finish of your achivement!

5: Yor and Anzu will NOT have to be killed in in Sethekk halls or Mana tombs

If you have to clear 16 minutes of trash 4 times... wouldn't that be 1hour 6 minutes on it's own? or does trash speed up if you kill a wave under 2 minutes?

the time shortens yes, if you kill the pack faster it does shorten the time to next trash spawn/boss spawn.

that is true, the wws however records when you kill the adds controlling the shade of akaman, once they are dead the wws of akama vs shade is recorded and Thats when the 20 seconds counts.

However a nice feat and nr 1 on top speedclear in bt in the world atm :)

Could the heroics possibly be broken up? Possibly by area (Coilfang Reservoir, Hellfire, Caverns of Time). With the addition of a no break rule. I don't think I could stomach all 16 heroics in a row. At absolute best you are looking at 10 hours playing strait.
