Only flaw in your plan is you won't get the best players, you are gonna get loot !!#!#s that don't want to work for anything. Hence their haste to dump their current guild for more glory.

I hate that guy in the dreadmist. He's scary looking. If I went to Blizzcon, I would probably throw pies at him.

I think some good players will get fed up with not getting past Karazhan and look for new and brighter futures.

The problem with end game raiding on this server is there are so many 15 man guilds working in Karazhan and they are too nice to leave and join a 25 man guild.

Yep, I agree. This will be the demise of progression on this server. I suggest all those 15 person guilds find another 15 person guild that is a good match, and join up with them. Yarg and Misdirection have had great success as Dreadnaught.

I don't know, maybe playing with good friends is more important to those 15-man's than getting the best gear/progression.

Not to say that guilds merging would stop that camaraderie, but to some it may not be worth the risk.

The best bet here is not to ninja players.

Contact other small guilds and ask them to form alliances, no one would quit thier guild they would just be acting as an extended guild.

For this to work tho, you need to have the same looting procedures

Except that the 5 best players in the 15 man guild will get bored at hauling everyone through Karazhan every week, and either a) quit the game, b) start pvping, c) join a guild that is working on 25 man instances.

Playing with good friends only holds you over for so long. Eventually boredom sinks in.
