So tonight two forum trolls who have nothing better to do ninjad our BT raid ID from a noob guildie... (they asked to him help with some quests passed him raid lead and quickly zoned in to get saved to our instance the night before)... They zoned in while we running back between illidan attempts and prevented us from making any attempts for the rest of the night.
No way to force them to leave they just sat inside the instance and chain spawned illidan while we asked them to leave. Ive already petitioned a GM and want to know if this is a punishable offense while i wait 2-3hrs for an offical ingame response.
Sadly i doubt the GMs will do anything beyond a verbal warning but im just shocked that someone would stoop this low just to stir up forum drama.
if they deliberately wiped you, that's actionable.
so's bad language.

Q u o t e: Regardless of how they obtained it that doesnt allow them to sneak in between attempts and wipe us... I asked them to leave and they refused.
If they caused you to wipe or used foul language then you can report them. Staying in the raid instance with a raid id is not in itself against the rules. Training and using foul language is.
I would appreciate some form of offical response... Sadly I know nothing will be done and they will be free to repeat themselves every week from now on as long as they keep trying. Someone from my raid simply has to accept a group invite for 2seconds and they can pass lead zone in and continue to harass us week after week. If Blizzard wont help us what should we do... cancel our accounts and play a new game? Cant raid with several random bozos sneaking in and preventing your raid from entering.
To be quite clear they were never invited to our raid at any time during the week... someone conned one of my guildies into accepting an invite and they had a 3rd person zone into the instance immediately after passing raid lead to my guildie. Took all of 2-3 seconds. I feel extremely frustrated because there is no way to prevent this from happening again... they have all week to ninja our raid ID and it takes mere seconds if they can trick just one person into joining a group.
People whose raid IDs have been "stolen" are encouraged to contact the Game Master department with an in-game ticket explaining the situation. We'll examine the case and see what we can do.
Preemptively: Yes, regulars, this is a new policy.

( about <expletive selfimploded> time too ... thanks for the update Belfy )
It is possible to stab a troll, but the technique takes practice and no-one ever gets a chance to practice more than once.

Awesome, glad you guys added a policy for this. It sucks telling people there's nothing that can be done in a situation like this, but up until now had to be done

There are things Blizzard can fix. Free will isn't one of them.

Score! I would like to think that all of the recent discussion has helped bring us this!
