By world chests i mean treasure chests that appear outside of instances. Used to be really fun to find them, now... nothing. I haven't seen any. Are they out there, and I'm just missing them?

The problem with rare spawns is now their all elite and need a group to take them down, and they drop some crummy green.

Blizzard, serously, WTF?

Not enough of em imo the 2 in Shadowmoon Valley and 2 in Netherstorm, probubly a couple more here and there, but for the most part, chests were more common place then rare spawns

maybe not elite as in gold dragon elite, but they are sure as hell tougher than the average mob of the same level, usually about twice the health.
