1) tell party to repair and buy reagants before zoning in. "my armor is red" is not an excuse.

2) don't run instances meeting minimum lv requirement. taunt resists, dps resists, melee dodges hurt your group.

3) on harder instances, get good CC or high dps. subpar dps from group with a freeze trap is not enough.

Hmm, i'll have to QFT all you guys said and also add in:

-Don't have 2 of the same class. 90% of the time this is an instant hinder to your group.
-Stick to 2 non-mana users and 3 mana users. Non mana users include: Warrior, Rogue, and Hunter (even if they use mana--u get the point) An example for Shadow Labs will be:
Warrior, Rogue (CC/DPS), Priest, Shaman (Support/DPS), Mage (CC/DPS)

-Always ensure somebody in ur group has the KEY!
-Always ensure everybody has enough time to complete the instance.

Well, i suppose that is the 10% of the time that your group is sucessful.

Actually, i have seen a few groups do better with 2 of the same class. One time in Shadow labs, i went with a few members from a raiding guild over vent, we had 2 shammies, one was a healer, i was DPS/offheal. We completed that instance within bout 45 mins. Favorite run ever.

But, generally, i try to NOT have 2 of the same class, simply because having an extra buff is really nice, and a whole new set of skills/abilities. Hybrids are usually the exception, with Holy Priest and Shadow priest also a good combo.

We had a lot of fun. It was rather enjoyable watching mobs explode. Needed something to spice up runs where we were only there for rep.
Though I suppose you wouldn't really call it a pug. We've grouped with each other a few times before.
