Hello,
I just turned level 10 and did the quest to tame beasts. Once completed I got my first pet.
However I have no 'feed pet' ability. I have combed through all of the tabs on my spellbook & abilities. I have call pet, dismiss pet and tame beast only.
I've checked my bags, I've re-checked with the hunter and pet trainer.
I've tried logging in and out and dismissing and re-calling a now very unhappy pet.

You probably haven't done the follow-up quest .. you get Feed Pet when you complete that .. check your quest log carefully and/or go back to the trainer to see if you didn't pick it up.

The Night Elf speaks truth. It was about a 3 part quest for us elves so you may have something similar. You'll get all of the pet abilities (beast lore, feed, tame, call/dismiss pet) once you complete the series.

You don't get beast lore from a quest. You train it..
You can get a Mr. T. enchant on 1 hander..

The only thing you notice about a good survival hunter is that the time you thought you were going to wipe you didn't. It ain't about making yourelf the best, it is making the raid/group better

hehe and here I was ready to copy/paste my latest "QQ" post on why the hell a poster would comment on a question like this when there are more pressing things that the hunter community needs.
