So after having a decent night, we're doing R&J and one of our tanks + healers get disconnected (roommates). As a result we kill Jul but wipe with Rom at 2%. Okay so whatever, no big deal right? Just go back and smash.

Unfortunately when the curtain opened we were greeted with:

That's right. Julianne's dead. We were put in combat, the doors closed, but nothing happened. Just Julianne's dead body laying there, no Romulo in sight. The event would not reset. Having everybody leave the instance/hearth, trying to get it to reset, nothing.

Bonus comedy shot of us trying to figure out how to get the hell off the stage with all the doors locked while trying to decide whether to be horribly amused or horribly pissed off:

Horde Paladins are mostly holy too...or at least almost everyone expects them to be holy.

The number of times I've been asked to heal and had to decline because I can't heal a damn in protection spec :( Even a 9500 (buffed) mana pool doesn't last long without those free crits :(

It doesn't make much sense for a shaman to be resto unless they have top notch +healing gear. Why? Because you can't really main heal a heroic with less than +1000 healing, and a resto shaman can't really play an off-healer/hybrid role in a 5-man because they can't do enough DPS.

SO - many aliance shammies (myself included) are specced in DPS for now (though I have 21 points in resto for NS), until they can gather a good +heal set so they can respec resto.

In contrast, a horde shammy is more likely to already have a great +healing set from pre-expac.

Leave the instance for 30 minutes.

If it doesn't reset, then someone was in there during those 30 minutes.

The real question is... Why wouldn't you? It takes 5 minutes tops and gives everybody a ridiculous amount of rep and chance at epic drops. We've gotten at least 5 epics from the audience at this point. Until everybody's exalted, there's really no reason not to.

We have I think six 70 shamans (Not sure exactly) Four = Resto
