0. New Servers this week? Confirmation? 03/13/2007 01:33:19 PM PDT
This is in regards to the Blue post last night. In one of the "many" new server threads a blue who will go un-named had mentioned a possibility of 2 new servers tomorrow some time. Then about 5 mins later the thread was deleted. I was wondering if these servers are for real and the blue just spoke to soon? give us some info on this!

Unfortunately, the answer to this question has never changed. It has always been some form of this:
“We regret that we cannot provide any information about new servers at this time. We will announce new servers as soon as we are able. Please stop asking, as this answer will not change, and the question has become spam.”
Unfortunately as well, the response to that is most commonly:
“We don’t want an ETA or anything, just tell us when it might be!”
Shortly followed by:
“Why are you ignoring us? If you’d just answer we’d stop asking.”
Hence, they stopped answering. Where we stand now?
When they can tell us, they will do so, and you won’t need to ask. Until they can tell us, they will not, and you may as well not.
This also applies, I've found, to blue posts which are deleted.

What is with you server rerollers that you do not get?
1. Posting about new servers is considered spam by forum rules and posts will be deleted and you can lose your posting privs.
2. There are plenty of servers that are low population that you can roll on.
3. Hopefully Blizzard has learned from listening to the beggars about new servers and doesn't release anymore for a while longer. Until all servers become somewhat close to full nightly, new servers are not needed.

Palehoof? did you even read it? last night a blue REPLIED to a new server topic and said possibility of servers Wensday which is tomorrow. Then 5 mins later "Poof" thread deleted. So seriously... Read before you cut and paste the usual crap :P Im asking why that thread was deleted etc If what the blue said is true then 60% of what you just cut and paste is false anyway.

There will be no new servers until the "recommended" ones fill up, like they've already said, and which probably will never happen. Too many dying servers, reroll on one of those or go to another game.

While chastising someone for not reading a post, it's wise to read the post to which you are responding. Specifically this line, in this case.

But why would they want to roll on a server with a stagnant economy as opposed to no economy?

Will he or she go unnamed because it never happened? What harm in calling them out if they did make such a post?

there will be no new servers for a while. Why in the name of god would blizzard spend more money to open new servers when there are servers they opened a couple months ago that no one is playing on. If you are sic of the server you are on goto one of those low pop servers. sorry you wont be a ble to open the gates or might not be the top raid guild but TOO DAMN BAD
