Stimpacks
Now stay with me for a min and hear me out:
I did make this all up myself FYI, so no I didn’t steal this from anyone else and if some else thought up this idea as well, kudos.
They can work somewhat like mini-flasks.
(I warn you I play a rogue not a caster so my numbers may be off and also the names need some work.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Schematic: [ ] Stimpack
Requires Engineering (325)
Use: Teaches you how to make an [ ] Stimpack.

[ ] Stimpack
Does not require Engineering to use.
Use Consumable: Lasts for 1 min.
Charges 3 (consumable) Bind on Use.
Requires: 1x Fel Iron Casting, 2x Handful of Fel Iron Bolts, 1x Crystal Vial, 3x Mote of [ ], 3x Mote of [ ], Anvil, Arclight Spanner, Gyromatic Micro-Adjustor.
Cooldown: 3 min. Does not share cool down with other consumables.
“Warning, may be habit forming.”

Examples:
Each can have a visual effect of a glow around the character.

Healing Stimpack
3x Mote of Mana
3x Mote of Air
Use: Reduces cast time by 10% and increases potency by 10% of Healing spells.

Light Stimpack
3x Mote of Mana
3x Mote of Life
Use: Reduces cast time by 10% and increases potency by 10% of Holy Damage spells.

Fire Stimpack
3x Mote of Mana
3x Mote of Fire
Use: Reduces cast time by 10% and increases potency by 10% of Fire spells.

Frost Stimpack
3x Mote of Mana
3x Mote of Water
Use: Reduces cast time by 10% and increases potency by 10% of Frost spells.

Shadow Stimpack
3x Mote of Mana
3x Mote of Shadow
Use: Reduces cast time by 10% and increases potency by 10% of Shadows spells.

Nature Stimpack
3x Mote of Mana
3x Mote of Earth
Use: Reduces cast time by 10% and increases potency by 10% of Nature spells.

Arcane Stimpack
3x Mote of Mana
3x Mote of Mana
Use: Reduces cast time by 10% and increases potency by 10% of Arcane spells.

Use: Increases ranged attack speed and damage by 10%.

Cooldown: 5 min. Does not share cool down with other consumables.
“Ahhh that's the stuff...”

Examples:
Each can have a visual effect of a glow around the character and an elemental themed effect trailing where they walk (Like how elemental mobs do).

Life Stimpack
1x Primal Earth
5x Mote of life
Use: Increases health by 500, and healing received by 5%.

Super Healing Stimpack
1x Primal Mana
5x Mote of Air
Use: Increases mana by 500, and plus healing by 75.

Corruption of Soul Stimpack
1x Primal Mana
5x Mote of Shadow
Use: Increases mana by 500, and shadow spell damage by 75.

Etc…

Use: Increases mana by 750, plus healing by 150, and 30 mp 5.

Burning Soul Stimpack
1x Primal Mana
1x Primal Fire
Use: Increases mana by 750, Fire spell damage by 150, and critical chance with fire spells by 5%.

Etc…

1x Primal Nether
3x Primal Air
Use: Increases mana by 1500, plus healing by 300, 5% reduced cast time, and 50 mp 5.

Ultimate Life Stimpack
1x Primal Nether
3x Primal Life
Use: Increases health by 1500, armor by 1000, defense rating by 30, and healing received by 15%.

Ultimate Fire Stimpack
1x Primal Nether
3x Primal Fire
Use: Increases mana by 1500, fire spell damage by 200, chance on spell cast to gain next spell cast be an instant cast costing no mana, and critical chance with fire spells by 7%.


Ultimate Frost Stimpack
1x Primal Nether
3x Primal Water
Use: Increases mana by 1500, frost spell damage by 200, chance on spell cast to gain next spell cast be an instant cast costing no mana, and critical chance with frost spells by 7%.

Ultimate Shadow Stimpack
1x Primal Nether
3x Primal Shadow
Use: Increases mana by 1500, shadow spell damage by 200, chance on spell cast to gain next spell cast be an instant cast costing no mana, and critical chance with shadow spells by 7%.

Ultimate Melee Stimpack
1x Primal Nether
2x Primal Earth
1x Primal Fire
Use: Increases attack speed by 15%, damage by 10%, chance on hit to reduce aggro by 20%, chance on damage taken to become immune to spells and physical damage for 6 seconds (this effect can not proc more than once every 30 seconds).

Ultimate Ranged Stimpack
1x Primal Nether
2x Primal Earth
1x Primal Air
Use: Increases ranged attack speed by 15%, damage by 10%, chance on hit to reduce aggro by 20%, chance on hit to restore 50 mana.

Ultimate Arcane Stimpack
1x Primal Nether
3x Primal Mana
Use: Increases mana by 1500, arcane spell damage by 200, chance on spell cast to gain next spell cast be an instant cast costing no mana, and critical chance with arcane spells by 7%.

Etc…

Not only can Blizzard use the same icon over and over and just change the colors, but also these items are perfect for rep grinding rewards. They might also be profitable and finally engineers have something useful to bring to groups / raids aside from repair bots and jumper cables.

A good idea, but it would become anouther engineering item that is way to expensive to use. Just like the high level bombs are now.

well i aimed for it to have the usefulness of a flask but not the comfort of being able to use it for every fight or at least not have it constantly available
