0. Itemization Hot Fix - 3/2/07 03/02/2007 04:01:00 PM PST
There is a hot fix going in which may have particular impact on the Priest class which we wanted to inform you of.
Gladiator's Satin Hood and Gladiator's Satin Mantle have been found to be granting only +Healing rather than the intended +Damage and Healing on the PTR. We are correcting this with a hot fix, however the tooltip will not reflect this until an upcoming client patch. For the time being, we will be removing the items from the vendor, so as to minimize any confusion. They will be reinstated when the tooltip issue is corrected.

Removing them for the time being? Um, thanks?

Q u o t e: Don't items with the same +healing and +spell damage suffer from the same bug as +MP5?
I bet +spell crit, +resil, etc. apply also.
i haven't seen any proof it spilling over into other stats. mp5 is an aura applied to your character (unseen and overwritten), whereas crit and such are a flat number added to your base values? correct me though if i missed some info somewhere

The distinction is between the white colored base stats and green "Equip:" or enchantment based stats which are implemented as invisible auras. Auras which don't stack if they happen to be identical, which happens most often with MP5 enhancements.
Thank you for informing us of such a serious issue. I'm sure many of us damage priests will be continuing to pvp in the arenas and will seek such awesome+dmg pvp gear.
Damn, this was the one issue I was really worried about. Screw PoM or priest survivability, the amount of healing I get from an item I probably won't ever get (espically with PoM nerf) is of utmost priority!
