After leveling this pally from 1-70 holy spec im glad to see this guide!

I'm in the process of leveling a BE Pally and so far prot has been fun and fast.

OMG, I just respec'd my Paly and tried out the tricks listed here and it worked like a charm. I finally have a toon that is playing in a role I have really wanted for a long time. A tough durable character that can take on multiple mobs and survive. Sure I sacrifice a little dps for one on one fights but for multiples you can't beat this technique. This is now my favorite post of all time. Thank you Iloveari, you work is greatly appreciated and you did a great job. I feel like my Paly is a whole new toon now, and for the better. I just dinged 38 on my paladin so still a bit new to it but I can honestly say this is the most helpful post I have seen to date. STICKY!

I have a 70 priest too so was really wanting to be able a more durable tank type. This makes levelling another toon a new and fun experience, not just a boring grind.

I've been leveling as Prot just because I saw this guide. I've been able to take on more than I thought I should (2-3 lvl +0 mobs) since level 30, and just a week ago or so (before I hit 36) I went to the infamous murloc camps in Duskwallow to get some real practice in.

And I got a lot of practice in. I burned through half of my level 35 to ding 36.

I have a screen shot of me standing in the middle of eight murloc bodies, all from one pull of 3 or 4 plus adds when they went running for the hills.

Thanks for the great guide. I switched to prot at level 35 and have been loving it!!! Thanks again, leveling is much more engaging when you're fight 3-4 mobs and constantly chaining more...

Didn't read through all the pages, so not sure if its been mentioned, but its not updates on the Grinding Spots in the original post...

Black Temple Blood Elves are great for AoE grinding. Especially the terrace of Demon Hunter Supplicants. If you are careful to avoid the Elite, you can gather 20-30 of the supplicants into a corner. Absurdly fast attacks, low damage, totally melee mobs with low health. I judge/seal wisdom to feed Consecration, swapping to Light if I need the extra health.

The terrace takes 5 minutes to respawn, during which time you can grind 4-5 of the eradicators, initiaties, or Blood Lords elsewhere nearby

I haven't had a chance to test most of them, but Frost Mages tend to avoid caster and ranged mobs at least as much as we do. Some of them already match up with your list, too.

Worth checking out, either way.

Other than the Flurry Axe ( too expensive IMHO), what other weapon would be a good upgrade early to mid-40s???

I am using the Sword of Omen at the moment, but its DPS is starting to level out with greens in the mid 40s.

Saw a few posts asking about prot spec so...bump.

I recently switched at 56 to Protection. It is amazing! I found the blood elves in northern Eastern Plaguelands. They are at the Quel'Lithien Lodge. The Rangers can be dealt with by moving into their melee range. Inside the building you can easily deal with them in three groups. While they respawn you can go outside for a couple fights. I got about 55,000 xp/hr there with rested xp. Protection is the most fun I've had in WoW.

Ilovea I was curious to what mods those are you have with your tool bar, the damage taken on the mobs etc. i love that steup you got for everything in general.

Ive been trying this spec in some of the areas listed, I dont know if its changed since posted or not but for one the murlocks in SoS spam a debuff that reduces your chance to hit by 50%. I try to grind on these guys but with more than 1 the debuff is almost constantly up. Is there anywhere else for my level?
