No, BoP is still seperate from Divine Shield and Avenging Wrath but it does cause forbearance.

AW no longer causes forbearance, DS still does.

1) If this is an intended change, I feel like it's mainly targeted for Blessing of Protection on other classes (ie Mage / Warlock). Maybe is it possible to make a different debuff for Blessing of Protection that gives Forbearance + the -15% damage and leave Divine Shield to giving the regular Forbearance.

2) Secondly, Avenging Wrath shouldn't be given a 5 minute cooldown if it is shared with Divine Shield. This is just silly. 30% damage for 30 seconds and I can't DS for 5 minutes ? Make it similar to active trinkets and trigger a 1 or 2 minute cooldown on its brethren ability.

3) It's not in the patch notes. The tooltips aren't updated. The graphic for the cooldown isn't even right. To me, it really sounds more like a bug than anything else.

Also, I'd like to see more responses from Blue on the paladin forums. We talk about a lot of stuff on these forums and have a lot of questions. Even if you wanted to say "Your class is fine! lrn2play" Hell, that's better than nothing. But anyways, see ya Monday.

It's posible that they were left over from an internal test and accidently were not removed, or that they simply were missed in the notes (I highly doubt the same people that make the changes write the notes).

these changes bother me, but what pisses me off the most is if I have to BoP someone to get a heal off on them, they're then penalized for the remaining 50 seconds after the shield is gone. I can deal with doing 15% less damage myself while Forbearance lasts (it still sucks though), but to make it so it penalizes a party member whose butt I just saved? Not good.

If BoPed Mages in the Arena blasting people were going to be a problem, then make it so no offensive spells can be cast under Blessing of Protection, but damn, don't penalize my party members that I'm trying to save.

Yes, please do get back to us so I can decide whether to shelve my paladin and make her a mining bot only.

I mean, come on - BoP is now something to use on an enemy, and not a friend - can't attack, and a 15% damage reduction? No one's going to want BoP now. "Just let me die instead!"

A blizz response on the weekend to a significant class issue is appreciated. That being said, an answer will be even more appreciated.
