Warriors got used to 100% of all quest reward plate being warrior gear... now when it is nearly 50/50 there is an 'imbalance'.

After reviewing this myself... I demand MORE PALADIN GEAR in the glove, helmet, shoulder, and bracer departments.

I'd like to echo this. It's still skewed in favor of warriors. However, there's also an unspoken issue here that folks may not necessarily be aware of:

There's a vast difference between tanking and damage plate. A tank wants tank plate. A DPS warrior, and/or a Retribution Paladin want DPS plate. A holy paladin will want spell damage plate. A protection paladin will want defensive spellcaster plate.

So what happens when you have three types of plate, and people who want each one?

DPS Warrior: OMG, THERE IS NO DPS PLATE. IT IS ALL TANKING/SPELLCASTER CRAP. DAMN PALADINS
Tanking Warrior: OMG THERE IS NO TANKING PLATE. IT IS ALL DPS/SPELLCASTER CRAP. DAMN PALADINS
Protection Paladin: OMG THERE IS NO TANKING SPELLCASTER PLATE. IT IS ALL DPS CRAP. BLIZZARD HATES US.
Holy Paladin: OMG THERE IS PLATE FOR ME FINALLY.

At around 67+ the warrior gear starts picking up, and by 70 all the quests I have reward with warrior tanking gear.

Just wanted to see what other warriors thought... see if I'm as crazy as I think I am or if I'm just over reacting.

Err... Will the jury note the lack of a proper Paladin quest reward on this long chain ? Sure, the plate helmet can be useful to a Retribution Paladin, same as the Rogue helmet can be used by Feral Druids and the Hunter helmet can be useful to an Enhancment Shaman, but why doesn't the Paladin get their own, +stam/+int/+spell damage head piece from this quest ?

The rewards are bout the same in all seriousness. Sometimes it's Paladin plate, sometimes it's Warrior plate, sometime it's generic tanking gear usuable by both without wasted stat points.

QFT. There was 0 real pally gear pre BWL. Blizz is making up for it.

I think the distribution is actually pretty decent. The problem is that if your gear is half-decent, only some of the quest rewards are upgrades. So you look at the quests, and you see quests that have no rewards for your armor type, or rewards that are for your armor type but another class, or for your class but aren't an upgrade, and think, there's no gear for me! I took me until level 70 to make significant upgrades to my healing gear, but got a full dps and tanking gear upgrade because I had essentially none of that. I do, however, have a full set of warrior dps plate and a full set of noncaster tanking plate just from quest rewards (may as well hold on to it), so if you came into TBC with a bunch of greens, you should end up with a full set of quest reward gear regardless of your class.

actually thats the attitude that blizz should never tae and yes im a prot warrior do you know how scarce it os for me to find a real upgrade through questing. Personally i would rather se that loot tables be revised making it so that every qust within reason has a reward for evry class at least if not every cookie cutter build.

My biggest pet peev is im running a instance and every drop is utterly useless to everyone in the group except for sharding or vendoring. I would rather have loot tables adjust by what classes are in the group running.
