WHAT!??!?!! I got to 375 engineering so that i learn an epic pattern that CAN'T BE MADE?????
That's right, Gnomish power goggles require SPELLFIRE CLOTH. But ask a tailor. They make SPELLCLOTH, but not SPELLFIRE CLOTH. So now i can't make my goggles. Thanks, glad i even bothered.

Furthermore, the Spellfire Set that is craftable takes Spellcloth. It seems to me like they changed the name of the cloth at the last minute but forgot to change the Engineering schematic.

I farmed all the mats as well, only to realize that my tailor handed me four spellcloth not spellfire...hopefully, Blizz resolves this in the next patch. It can't be that difficult to change a name in a schematic.
Please fix this. It can't more than a one-line change in a data file, and this recipe plus the transporters are the only things in Engineering worth using at the present.
He said in a future patch. That doesnt mean this patch. It will probably be in that patch that is supossedly going to fix engineering and i forsee that it is not going to be implemented for at least 6 more months.

Can you be a little more helpful about what the fix is? Specifically, will engineers be able to use spellcloth they have gathered from tailors to make the goggles once the fix goes live?
As frost I've hotkeyed every key to either frost nova or ice lance. I PVP by bashing my face on the keyboard while smearing myself with baby oil & screaming "I AM TEH LEYTNESS" at the top of my lungs.
Any smart engineer knows that this will never actually get fixxed, they SAY they are fixing engineering all the time, but time and time again, they have proven themselves completely ignorant to the fact engineering is a real profession. Now if this was a problem with tailoring, they would have taken the servers down, and did a quick fix, but since its engineering issue, i expect it may be resolved around 2011.
Why 2011? Engineers have been trying to get love for about 3-4 years, still nothing, so yeah, 4 years from now, we might see a new completely amazing RAINBOW FLARE!
To anyone reading this, engineering is a LOST CAUSE, BLUES THAT SAY DIFFERENT ARE LYING TO YOU!

bump. Going to keep bumping this until either it's fixed or we get a better, i.e. useful answer. Spellcloth isn't exactly cheap and easy to gather. A guarantee that the fix won't make the spellcloth people have gathered or are in the process of gathering goto waste would be nice.
