This is not a Blizzard maintained site but the data on that site should prove to be correct.
To create the traceroute do the following:
Go to Start/Run
Type "cmd" to bring up the DOS window in the Run command box.
Type "tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > "C:\trace.txt" in the DOS window (replace the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with the IP address from the site linked above)
Wait for the command prompt to appear again, about 1 minute.
Now the file called trace.txt should hold the trace route you took to the realm.

We have had our Network Admins and our ISP investigate this issue extensively and have been unable to find any issues. The problem appears to be occurring over various routes from the player to the game server, including to realms that are not hosted by AT&T.
We are aware of an issue specifically impacting Time Warner/Road Runner customers. At this time we are confident that this issue does not reside within our Network or the Time Warner/Road Runner network. We are actively working with the parties involved to identify the source of the issues and work towards achieving a resolution for all involved.

acces is denied but i ran the trace and i was timed out from 12 on to 26+ central ny t1 road runner buis class lots o dough and i get solid yellow lat on shan but not andor
THANK YOU for looking into this....I have had flawless play for 2.5 years and only in the last 10 days have not been able to raid or pvp because of chain disconnect problems :-(
ok i just noticed after looking at all my network activitys that there is a public folder in the world of warcraft directory called logs ? what is this little oopsie and i notice a nice little new noise in my hd that started about the same time as the lag like a click that was never there
The problem has persisted for multiple weeks...I've sent my information in numerous times and made a couple different posts and gotten no response...so I called and talked to TWC and they told me it wasnt them....wtf
I get Access Denied when I add the .txt part.
Anyway around this?
I timed out from 18 onward.
Is that what is causing the disconnects? It takes 5-10 minutes to get back the internet after it happens.
