Anyone have thoughts or speculations as to whether they'd add some sort of other mount that is only usable in Northrend? I don't really forsee any type of mount that they'd have to add if they can just change the outland-only flyers into northrend as well. Although I really think that they'd add some retarded mount which is the only flyer you can use in northrend that is "unhindered by the cold" unlike the swift wyverns in outlands. Also I feel like blizzard will make it cost like 10,000 gold maybe even more since the epic mount to flying epic mount was a 4200 gold increase. Really this post is just me rambling and complaining that blizzard will make level 80s farm up another 10,000,000 gold to get a flying mount that is only useable in northrend instead of just letting us use our lvl 70 epic flyers.

I'm surprised they haven't put in aquatic mounts that cost 20,000 g to learn...

But, I'm even more surprised in that there's no mounted combat. I think there should be. To counter balance it, reduce attack/casting speeds and limit the abilities available to the mounted player, or something.

Yes, there will be new mounts available. I'm hoping they're cosmetic and not a faster speed, though. I think we're going fast enough now. My computer's not exactly weak and it still can take a bit for things to laod up when I zip down and land on the Netherwing Drake.

Gyrocopters are available in the upcoming 2.3 (to answer an earlier post). They will likely be awesome.

I like seeing more variety in the mounts, it adds diversity when you see folks moving around. Too bad armor is still going through carbon copy syndrom with the tier sets.

A whale, you'll get inside and will need it to reach very deep instances. One of the instances is based on the Abyss and Ed Harris will be an end-game boss.

Can we at least make sure the engineering flying mount can be used in Northrend, in a grounded form.
The animation is already in game and in use anytime the thing is idle on the ground. Please?
