Not sure if it has been mentioned or discussed but will LK bring some better textures/graphics overall or are we to expecting to see WC3.5 still?

The new stuff will probably look amazing, and they'll probably do jack all to the existing models.

New textures wouldn't really do much to game play other than make it look better. They're just graphic art, not polies.

Considering wow is 5 years old and so is their engine, they need to up the poly count and Texture quality. the game looks dated especially with the hardware that keep getting cheaper and cheaper. im sorry if you are having problems playing wow now then you should look at upgrading. it costs ~725 to upgrade to play AOC at 40-60 (outdoor) 90-150(indoor).

im not saying turn it in to the next best visuals but, the engine is so dated it should be upgraded a bit.

Keep in mind that you dont know what you are talking about.

Textures will not affect framerate anymore than they already do.

If there was this much brown-nosing at my office I would go in early with a M16.

At the end of the day they need to upgrade the textures AT LEAST.

Maybe update some of the spell effects, serpent sting is looking a bit dated, having the same spell effect as almost EVERY OTHER POISON IN THE GAME.

If there was this much brown-nosing at my office I would go in early with a M16.

We have some really amazing graphics and textures going in with Wrath of the Lich King. I believe the art team is really outdoing themselves as have all of the teams developing the expansion. We are still retaining the style that makes Warcraft, well, Warcraft, but hopefully you'll enjoy the newer elements that are being added in and the design of Northrend.

I know this question has come up before when we were releasing Burning Crusade, but we don't have any information at present on any changes to the minimum requirements for Wrath of the Lich King . Provided there are any changes, we'll let you know, but we do our best to maintain the availability of the game for as many people as possible.
