I was able to complete a battleground (due to the spikes relenting) last night, for the first time in over a week. Today, however, 13k ms spikes every half minute with a complete bandwidth lock-up that plays out all at once in a half a second... again.

this is Bull@*#@ again i lagged to all hell in an instance thenbi came back to the group only for the box to pop up and say we are porting to shat in 60 secs so i disbanded got reninvited and then was ported the guys died i lost my item i was waiting for GG blizard oh and yes i spoke to a guy from OOL very high up because i sent in a compliant to the Better Business Bureau he told me there is nothing they can do ITS blizzards problem to route its servers to a diff isp backbone and ATT is a bunch of Fuc ups

By some sheer dumb luck the god awful lag happened to me mid waves of Hyjal but cleared up for the bosses.

Archimonde is going to be terrifying.

like some of u before said, games is steady @ 200ms then jumps to 800ms then jumps to 1400ms and keeps going up until it DC, only DC from WOW, ventrilo stays connected the whole time. i cant even raid anymore :( bcs of mayor lag spikes and DC's

Everyone keep sending emails to Blizz Tech Support as per the stickie. I don't think this issue is resolved yet until a Blue responds and lets us know that the issue has in fact been resolved or is in the process of being resolved.

Today has been a lil better... latency in the yellow for the most part but not too bad, unlike last night where i logged in disgust cause the game was simply unplayable.

Tonight was very playable. Pray to whatever God you hold dear that it continues.

I had enough with OOL's crappy customer service
It doesn't matter to me whether it's OOL's line problem or blizzard's problem or AT&T or what not ..bottom line is its not working for me.
I will be switching to Verizon DSL (FIOS isn't available yet)

Anyone know if Verizon DSL has known issues with WoW or internet ?????

aaahh so this explains the recent lag spikes and dc's.. I don't get it, I have OO but I don't have a problem with my isp connecting to anything other then WoW and WoW forums at times.. Dced a bunch of times tonight and currently cannot reconnect. I don't know what the problem is but but it's getting quite annoying and theres no way in hell I'm switching to Whatthefugover verizon or to those crackhead crooks at at&t. So work it out asap please, I'm not paying to lag out off of a cable connection.

I won't be able to hit gladiator because of this, every game i play i eventually hit huge spikes while talking to my teammates over vent and i can even refresh my firefox pages that i have minimized fine, fix your stuff.

It seems to be exceptionally bad right now.

The issue right now is solely on Cablevision's court - Two routers that normally mask their responses are showing up as errored, and the connection the rest of the way down is worse than normal.

You guys are not alone, I'm getting spikes and higher than usual latency too on ATT DSL and Comcast. On cable I would get 20 to 40 for latency now I'm I go 255 to 500. Tracert shows the same hanup at ATT's backbone.
