Its been answered by Blizzard already. Just not in this thread.
In this case I think everyone is asking Blizzard to contact OOL because OOL is openly blaming Blizzard for the problem. They're not saying that everything is "fine" (a typical ISP response), they're saying "we've done our troubleshooting and found your gaming service provider, Blizzard, to be causing the problem." I mean, if it were my company and there was another company erroneously telling my customers that I had a problem I would:
1) contact that company to try to clear up any misunderstanding about fault
2) explain the situation to my customers so that they don't think I'm providing inferior service
In this context, it really isn't all that outlandish for Blizzard to contact OOL, especially since it's clear that OOL is aware of them as a company and there wouldn't be a Blizzard-who? type response. Lacking that, a post explaining "hey this is why OOL might think we're at fault, here's the real deal, you guys can tell them this" would at least be a step in the right direction.

yeah lag is back tonight. i had similar lag free times today and now its off and on again.
this is a crazy situation and i can only hope it will get better.

Lag came back around 10est, just as we got to Kalecgos. 5 people in our raid use OOL, and 1/5th of your raid disconnecting at once means a guaranteed wipe.
I've got FiOS coming on Wednesday, and I can't wait. Their 15/2mbps deal is actually 20/5mbps here in New York, so I'm stoked.

It got better for a few days, but the lag monster came back tonight and it was worse than ever. :(

This problem is going to force me to stop raiding......having an unreliable connection as the only resto druid just isnt working for me.......never thought id have to stop playing this game without wanting to :/
it seems like hops 4,6,7 on any tracert for the most parts times out. Does that make any sense because if it does shouldnt it be a ool problerm? for the people who claim wow is working for them, why dont you post a tracert plz. Lets take a look

as explained earlier in the tread, its due to security reasons much like how after hop 15/16 (sometimes higher) you dont get responses from the blizzard equipment either.
I was encouraged to read that the issue had cleared up earlier this weekend, but it appears that it has reared its ugly head yet again.
I dont know why OOL is blaming blizz, as its clearly their peering provider's problem. Cognetco is the one not accepting the handoff correctly and probably not handing it off to ATT correctly either. Sadly You, Me, Nor Blizz can contact them. only OOL can. SO its easier for OOL to blame blizzard than it is to take the time to send your ticket up to their network engineers so they can call Cognetco and get this problem fixed.
i am sorry most of you have had to switch and here is to hoping your new isp is a lot better.
