0. Free Character Moves - Updated! 1/15/07 01/09/2007 01:08:29 PM PST

Beginning at 12 PM, Tuesday, January 9 we will be opening Free Character Moves for a number of realms. Some of these free moves are new this week and some are continuing from last week. The destination realms are newly opened with character creation disabled for the period of free character moves.

These transfers are now being closed at 12:01 AM PST, Tuesday, January 16.

In the event that a realm meets our transfer goals before the scheduled end date the transfers to that realm will be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience.

just wondering why im not able to transfer from bloodhoof (on my main) when its after 12noon where i am and in PST as well. are you currently updating it or something?

Why are you allowing character tranfsers from already established realms into a battlegroup with realms that aren't? (Emberstorm)

Makes absolutely no sense at all...

You get a halo for finally offering transfers off Argent Dawn.

And you get horns for it being a different time zone.

So I guess you broke even, but I won't be transfering because of it. Kinda ruins my day knowing we won't get free tranfers again for another 6 months. *sigh*

how about paid transfers for those of us that got screwed by Blizzards website not working during the allowed hours of transfer and had a toon stuck on a PvE server (ie. Hyjal to Black Dragonflight) with the free transfers and then Blizzard telling us that even though PvE to PvP was allowed for free that Blizzard wont take our money and allow us to finish the transfers we started? With the expansion coming out Blizzard has a great chance of righting a wrong done to many people. i expect some flamers to flame this post but immature people will respond to this and many posts on public forums.

Yep, a whole bunch of servers with about the same queue sizes as Moonrunner have gotten free transfers over the past 2 weeks. But, Moonrunner is ignored yet again. I realize we're teh redheaded step-child, but come on!

THANK YOU for the transfers off Draenor! I was starting to think that there would never be an end to the constant queue / disconnect / queue issue. Great realm with some great people but a fresh start is going to be wonderful.

Edit: Wow, still showing a guild I left over a month ago... O_o

I am not sure how to address this issue but my realm has queue times for battlegrounds of ober 12 minutes for WSG, over 16 minutes for AB and over 40 minutes for AV. I have heard that other server groups have battleground queue times of under 2 minutes for each battleground.

there are.. but most over populated realms have high queue times. bloodhoof have queue times of roughly 20mins for ab and wsg and av queues are often over an hour.

I was hopeing to see if i could change from my current realm "vek'nilash" to an oceanic realm because i am experiencing bad lag and i am seeing my self being hit by melee classes in BGs from like 15 yrds away and thats not cool especialy when i have super fast cable internet. so i would like to change to say aman'thul so i can have a clear game play free of lag.

Gives the impression that all of the servers in the Emberstorm battlegroup will be on equal footing, doesn't it? *Everyone* starting fresh, coming from limited sources of income and access to gear (budding economies, not yet established). However, you are now moving 5 first generation servers in to this battlegroup... and no longer are any of us getting a "fresh start". The "fresh start" you offered us a mere four days ago.

Why would you do this? Why *are* you doing this? I really want to know. I want to make sense of this because right now I (and many, many of my fellow players) are confused and extremely disillusioned.

Seriously Blizzard, I'm not one to complain and I usually go with the flow of whatever you guys are doing, but this sucks serious monkey butt. Leave Emberstorm to evolve on its own, please!
