3:20 PM PDT Update-
The following realms are being brought down immediately for urgent maintenance to address continuing issues relating to high latency and disconnections. We anticipate the maintenance to require approximately two hours to complete and should be available for play at 5:00PM PDT.
We're aware that the following realms are continuing to experience latency and disconnection issues and we're in the process of monitoring and investigating the issue. We'll provide updates as soon as they become available.

Just be glad they're doing something to fix the issues. Would you rather play w/ high latency and constant disconnects, or lose ~ 2 - 3 hours of playtime for them to fix it. Nobody reads the terms of use, EULA, etc., but they reserve the right to bring the servers down for maintenance and do not have to compensate you.
As for loss of items.. lol. You can't lose something you didn't have, and you can't be compensated for something you might have had.
Q u o t e: Just love this. I cancelled my account and it ends 4am PDT on May 1st and I get home from work wanting to do some last minute things with my toons and stuff...and it's down. I'm already going to miss the childrens week event by a few hours and now this.
Almost considering extending my account by 30 days...but I really want it to end now.
