You're all supposed to be laid back, friendly, and oblivious to the fact that if you sleep on the ground in your country, you'll assuredly be killed by something poisonous.

Rescuers Down Under perpetuated this stereotype at a very young age for me.

If you must know, I'm in my second year of university (not online) and getting distinctions. And I'm a Victorian like yourself. i got an enter score of 75.1 which as you know, means I'm more intelligent that 3/4 of Victorian students who graduated in 2006.

Please do not post unnecessary, generalized, and quite derogatory comments about Australia and its inhabitants. If you want to make very poor sarcastic remarks about yourself, do it on another forum.

The vast interior is called the Outback, where you will be offered bush tucker for meal breaks.

The land is so immense, that it seems there is so much of nothing before you reach anything.

Don't tell the Aussies that they are the biggest braggarts, and remember that a "Pommy Bastard" is a term of endearment.

The Australians will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and if you can take the saloon banter, you'll have friends for life.
