I've been waiting for a long time for a Resto Druid spreadsheet to appear, but I got tired of waiting, so I made one myself. :)

http://www.mediafire.com/?wgv3w3zzntz

Current list of features:
Displays total gear stats, such as your health, mana, spirit, and healing, as well as regen (up to date as of 2.4)
Allows customization of all gear, gems, enchants, as well as many buffs
Calculates various performance models, such as keeping a full Lifebloom stack on four tanks, full HOTs on one tank, and other situations

Current to do list:
Add set bonuses (Whitemend, Primal Mooncloth, T4 2/5, any others people want)
Make socket bonuses automatic (may not happen, I have no idea how to implement this)
Add elixer buffs

If you find any bugs or inconsistencies, please post here. Enjoy!

EDIT: I also don't want to scare people with a keylogger post. If anyone knows of trusted places I can easily (read: free) host a file, please tell me.

Updated again to fix the Bangle and Darkmoon trinkets. The procs on them will be displayed as average MP5 given.

Confirmed as legitimate. Though you may want to save this as .xls, as not many people use Open Office. Also, it started scrolled to a weird square, but maybe that was just me.

Naked Night Elf Stats:

73 Str
75 Agi
82 Stam
120 Int
152 Spi
150 Armor
6.35% Spell Crit
77 mp5 not casting
23 mp5 casting

No offense, but I'd rather not download anything from the internet like this.

Is there any way you can show us a couple of screen shots, or can this be made into a webpage, where we can type in the stats or however it works?

Thank you for the stats!

I don't have a copy of Excel, so I have no idea how it acts in it. Unless there's an easy way in Open Office to check compatibility, this may have to stay OO exclusive. :( This is also far, far too complicated to put to a web page with my knowledge of internet scripting, but I can post some screenshots.

Not sure why it started on a weird square, it opens fine for me. Might have been a weird setting you had.

Screenshots added to the first thread so people can see the spreadsheet and make sure it's legit.

That's interesting. So we can choose which type of healing style we like to play, and then get appropriate gear and gems? Or how does this work? I'm very interested in this.

This is very left-brained and analytical. Can you break it down into dummy-terms what I'm looking at here? >.>

The "Healing Method" section will take the data from your gear, average out how much your heals for, and calculates your healing per second, how long your mana pool will last, and how much healing you do in that time in different situations like keeping LBx3/rejuv/regrowth on one tank, LBx3 on four tanks, and several others. It's one of the things being updated in the next patch, which should be done later today.

Does Google Docs not have enough formula support to do something like this? Seems to me that an online spreadsheet would be the best option to avoid problems between different file formats and/or trojan paranoia.

Google Docs doesn't have nearly the support to do this. That was the first thing I thought of but it's missing most of the functions and script capabilities needed.

Now that I've tried it out, just a few comments:

Other than these it seems like a great start, though I'm not really sure what to do with the information it gives me... any more experienced theorycrafters out there can shed some light on how to interpret and apply the information provided?

I was afraid that might be the case. What about Zoho?
