Does anyone know when or how those who sent the essays in will be notified to compete in the tournament. I sent it monday but still nothing. Just wondering

Essay? What essay is this, and why are we writing it? I guess I missed this part.

According to the rules for joining the tournament, Canadian residents must write an essay(instead of paying the $20)

I did that aswell, but sent it much sooner then u did. my account page says i am flaged for it but i can't sign in. sorry i have another post on this matter :(

Ordinn, it was promised that an essay status would be displayed somewhere in your account information, is this feature still coming or will I just have to watch my e-mail?

Canadian residents have 2 options, Writing the essay on WoW, or paying $20(I'm lazy and payed)

why can canadians write an essay to play something that everyone else has to pay money to play... i don't see the reasoning behind this.. at all

i want an answer to this...

I'm pretty sure that sweepstakes or like events according to Canadian laws requires a "PURCHASE NOT NECESSARY" part to it. So blizzard had to open another form of entering the tournament other than paying to them, to make it legal. Otherwise, Canadians wouldn't even be able to play in the tournament at all.
