Do you guys (Blizzard Ent.) have any preliminary plans for the expansion after The Burning Crusade? Possibly a delve into Northrend? Opening up Hyjal's current zone? Exploring a 3rd faction comprised of neutrals, i.e. Ogres, Goblins and the like; which would open up the possibility of exploring Undermine? Expanding the second seemingly obscure instance entrance in Stormwind? Allowing the general populous into the Emerald Dream? Opening Uldam in Tenaris? Hero Classes?

Also, if there are plans, do you think it might be slated for less than a years time; faster than the current expansion which from original release is looking like a little more than 2 years to become available? I really love this game and love seeing it grow, just a bit curious as to what we might see after we conquer Outland.

It really seems like WoW still has a LOT of room to grow even with the current map state the way it is. With all the lore in the novels, locations from all of the Warcraft RTS's and still unexplored spots on the map I'm really excited to see how far this game can push the MMO limit!

Seems likely that it will involve Northrend, but who really knows for sure? The lore is theirs to create from here on out.

Given Blizzard's history in releases (and this is not a slam) do not expect expansions every year, but instead maybe every two years, or at the least a year and a half. :)

EDIT: Oh, and new expansion, my money is on Northrend. :D Time to take on teh Arthas.

I would REALLY like to see a Warcraft 4 RTS released along with another expansion possibly in a year or year and a half. Blizzard already has the best game on the market (even if it has its fair share of bugs) and with such a community of Loremasters, End Game Raiders, and casuals alike it seems like they (Blizzard) has a long road ahead of em, but one with a hell of a lot of opportunity.

Also, something I didnt add. Hero Classes. It was something I think a lot of people had 'expected' out of TBC but we got some hardcore talents instead, which is still pretty awesome, but also seemingly slates Hero Classes for a later expansion or patch release.

I had heard something regarding Northrend and Undermine myself, though if all 4 facets were included or just the Dream and the old World Tree that'd be amazing.

BTW Northend was the last on the list so dont be expecting to see that anytime soon.

Don't forget... Outland will have portals to other worlds.... as in we may very well see the Burning Legion's homeworld!

And Azeroth itself still has plenty of zones and areas that need to be expounded upon. And who knows, Blizz may even add another continent in Outland.


However, I love the utter massiveness of this game. There is so much to do before Blizz is forced to make new lore, new lands, and new races.
