So for my husbands birthday I decided to get creative.
I made him and Alliance cake.
Sooo... I'm like getting attention. What do you guys think of it.
Lol It took me 3 days to complete everything. Hopefully next time I will be faster.

The entire exterior is done in white chocolate flavored Fondant, and plain Fondant.
I used food dyes and dusts to get all the effects.

wow, nice. I'd hate to cut that thing, just because of the work it required.

I actually couldn't wait to get into it but thats because the cake its self was amazing!
I was one of those weird kids that loved to kick my sand castle after I made it, so I don't mind eating my art afterwards.

I just made another cake('s) today for my Mother in law.
I carrot cake in small pans and made them look like terracotta pots. and put crushed oreos (sans icing) and silk flowers.
It looks really neat.

I envy you in that respect. I once made that cake on the cover of The Cake Bible, fondant roses and all, for a dinner party. By the time it was finished I wanted nothing to do with it. Folks tell me it was delicious...
