I've got my Combat log filter set to the default "Self" filter, but crafting results still show up in it from other people.

That's not a combat message.

Right-click the tab at the top of the combat log window, choose "Settings" at the bottom of the context menu that pops up, then choose the "Other" category from the left side of the new window.

Enable/disable filters as you see fit.
