Keeps saying group is too full. Is this what's supposed to happen?

Blizzard has effectively raised and smashed our dreams. You could say it's better than nothing, but an addon that queues everyone at the same time is more effective than only being allowed to queue as a group.

Does this mean that Blizzard will finally crack down on the people who use mods to abuse the que system and come in as 40?

They can't do anything about the mod because all it's doing is queueing everyone at the same time. You can simply sit in Vent and do a count down and everyone clicks join at the same time. They can't do anything about that.

The 5 mans queue does nothing really. I guess it's nice for many who have long ques though. They can make a 5 man party that can do 5 mans while they all sit in queue and then all take it when it pops.

Having a mod q in the same micro second is different then a countdown on vent because then you deal with vent lag someone not paying attention human response time and everything. Which would result in not all 40 getting the same game. Really would prevent the lack of skill honor leachers from further reducing the fun of av.

I'm glad you limited it to 5. But still, it was possible to get 30-40 in before by timing it, unless they put in a method to scatter groups that que in 5s it should be easier(or they should have longer waits to get matched with other sets of 5.)

I'd say since you can already do it via addons, just make it 'join as raid' compatible for casuals and people without addons.

That is intended, however I have gotten up to twenty people into an AV using stinkyqueue(Addon)

Also nice for those who want to play with a few friends but not have a full raid. I always used StinkyQueue just to play with 1-4 of my friends.

if they did this and made it so you could only join any BG with 5 people, the majority of my guild, including myself, would quit the game.

i think they should just make it "join as party" for all BGs... since now u cant tell if its a premade or not so u really cant expect what type of battle your going to get... i tend to go into BGs solo and find its always a organized raid on the other side.. it sucks.. but if maybe they were 3 groups together i think it would be more fun and a challenge if u have alot of ppl organized in deferent groups.. u can see how other servers do it and such... i dont know though.. just a sugestion :P

They can do something about it. Just as they did something about Decursive and many, many other macros they wanted to do away with. That they don't means they don't see it as a problem.
