0. Darkmoon Faire Hotfix 03/11/2008 02:07:09 AM PDT
A hotfix has been applied that will start Darkmoon Faire after the next realm restart or maintenance, which are currently scheduled to conclude at 11:00 AM PDT, March 11.
This will resolve the issue with the Faire running one week earlier than expected and will match the dates of the Faire to those listed on the event calender.

Yeah, and all it took was 40+ pages of customer complaints.
Now if the blunder was players getting a fun non-combat pet by blowing kisses at an NPC it'd be hotfixed after 5 pages of customer joy.
Funny how that works.
only reason it took 40 pages was because people didnt read the GM's responses and kept putting up mindless bickering when he said they were working on a solution to the dilema ... I'm surprised he didnt ban some for there ignorance ... ?cheer blue team for getting us a solution

Its not about the posts. Its about a mistake that Blizzard did not account for. Blizzard likes your money, they will do what it takes to keep you. Having the Faire run the week it was scheduled is in their best interest. They're not here to rain on anyone's parade.
