It is difficult to reply to this post as I am not used to actually typing with my fingers. As a lock I am more accustomed to simply rolling my face in the keyboard.

Q u o t e:
All your whining might have got your nerf reverted, HOWEVER I am sure Kalgan won't put as much effort designing new ways for Warlocks to escape melee perhaps? Or get his revenge on your personal attacks in WOTLK perhaps?

I think a lot of people here greatly overestimate the effect of "whining" and have some serious misconceptions about whether we "like or hate" certain classes (or the people that play them).

We definitely feel the need for warlocks to gain some sort of active defense so we don't have to try to balance them around the assumption that they're "tanking" melee classes. For example, an idea we're running with internally is the concept of a warlock being able to cast a spell that places a circle of demonic power on the ground. The warlock would be able to teleport to this location from within a relatively short range (ie: 40 yards), and would also be able to summon demons more quickly if they're standing within the circle.

Note: this idea is intended as a sneak peek, it's not something that we're planning for 2.4, it would be more likely as an expansion ability, and may change entirely before said time.

So no, we're not sitting around going "rabble rabble, those darn forum locks are ruining our nerfing funz, no more fun for them, one year!"

Another good idea for this isn't that we teleport there, but that we're able to teleport our target there with a banish type effect.

Vllargh

You only think you don't need 202 spell hit rating because you don't already have 202 spell hit rating.

Kalgan you need to post more. All I ever hear about is your incompetance and you're biasts, yet in the few posts I've read in this forum, all those other peoples opinions on you have been thrown out the window. It's nice to see that you're on top of the situation, also, check my sig, the problem is killing me.

I like that idea. Now if we can figure out how to do those area type of placements (green circle, i.e.) over a cliff or something...

Wow, a good idea, AND references to both South Park and Seinfeld in the same post?

I like that. Very warlock like without homogenizing abilities (ie. giving locks a iceblock type of ability).

Now, make sunder a pve only ability please :)

that is actually.... a damn nice idea. It would have good uses for PvE as well.

and since lately you are posting here reguraly, can i ask if pet scaling will happen at some point (not necesarly in 2.4)?
