If 2/2 Imp Lifetap continues to restore an additional 20% mana, and I suppose now health, for a total of 35%, then that's not bad. Although I suspect Blizz will push it further up the talent tree.

Maybe it's just being a Monday, but I still can't find the thread with the stated change on the PTR forum. Link? Thank you.

I'm thinking it's 20% more as in 20% more of what it already restores, so 18%.

15% -> 18% is really really weak.

i'm interested to see what'll happen to this talent.

It already happened. It's 16% health for 18% mana.

Keep in mind however that raiding Warlock don't take the talent and we're still on track for the improved Shadowbolt nerf which will ensure Warlocks never use any shadow based spells in PvE.

Can Shadowpriests get 5% added back to Shadow Weaving, then?

No, it should go on Darkness or Shadowform.

I'll be nicer if you'll be smarter.

Improved Life Tap will work the same as it always has. You get 20% more mana with the talent than you get without it. So, with 0 points in the talent, you get 15% of your max mana. With one point, you get 16.5%. With 2 points, you get 18%.

The amount of health lost when tapping does not change.

Can you give us a reason for the lifetap change? Any reason will do.

Thank you. Smartest change to locks in a long time. Justified nerf, imho.

Justified for what, exactly? Why do you think this nerf was put in place? Just for the hell of it?

1. Nobody likes being feared.
2. Nobody likes DoTs.
3. People hate pets.

Most of the QQ posters wouldn't be satisfied if locks were nerfed...not really. They just hate the way the class works.

I am pretty sure you can answer this question yourself.

How about explaining WHY you would make such a ridiculous change.

People who have the "Warlocks are OP" mentality believe that any nerf is justified, however much it might affect PvE, or however little sense it might make.

Thats good to know, Eyonix do you know why the sudden change to life tap was made? i ask since it's been taken by most of the warlock community to be a huge Nerf to a class's core ability.

I am going to take a wild guess and say "because they thought the current implementation of Life Tap was too good"?

Not to say it was a very good change, but still!

Im another one of the people requesting the reason(s) why Life Tap was changed. I think stating the reason(s) why with as much detail as possible will end or hinder the mass hysteria going on in the forums. Although personally, Im also one of those people who don't think its that big of a deal.

Itd be nice to not be vehemently attacked for that though :)
