I thought that multi boxing and botting is the same thing except its five/four computers instead of 1 thats automated and the human sometimes controls it. It makes now sense so your basically saying you can bot just not 1 botting. THATS STUPID ITS THE SAME THING!!!! /gasp.

As long as they're not using third-party software to control the additional accounts, multi-boxing is legit.

Not the same thing... One is automated game play. One is using one key press to do one action. Just because that is split to multiple clients, it is still controlled by the user.

i wish i had the money to really multi box, i tried it on my pc with just 2 characters, it was fun. but the people that really do this. are very particular, one guy has like 6 that he uses exact copys of computers, that he built himself. and 6 or 7 monitors. (geez) + he has like 6 WoW accounts. (thats a serious gamer)

It really depends on how you want to do it and how many accounts you want to run. I use two myself, and just run 2 clients on my laptop with the video settings reduced. So, it only costs 2 subscription fees (the computer cost really doesn't count since I use it for many things besides WoW).

yeah, i could do that, but i only did it with a trial account so i could see :) multi-box a few warlocks and i am in buissiness. except now i get to /cry about the newest nerf. guess i have to change what i was originally gonna spec to. and just go destructolock. (<-- boring) i like affliction and now i will be nerfed.

I so wanna do this someday. I'll have to figure out how to get my kids to to stop playing on the other accounts and give me the computer monitors.....

My server has a 5-shaman who does shows in SW. Fireworks, dancing, and ChainHeal maypoles. It's great fun. That, and she can oneshot people in a heartbeat!
