Will the addons that people have programmed for TBC work the same as they do in WoW 2.0? I figured since both are probably running LUA 5.1 that they should be the same but...maybe not because you're not accounting for Lv 70 yet or for Draenei/Blood Elf species.
I'd like to know this too. Is patch 2.0 going to have as much functionality as beta as far as macros and mods go. For example if a new LUA function gets added or a new macro function gets added. is that going to be in patch 2.0?
Yes, WoW 2.0 is the major functionality change update (hence the major version number bump). The Burning Crusade will be a minor version number bump with very few changes. WoW 2.0 addons should work largely unchanged in the Burning Crusade.
