Since I've decided there's absolutely no relevant thread I could ever find to throw out this info...
We're making some improvements to the way the looting UI and related functions work in 2.4. These are just a couple of the changes planned.
First when you loot a Bind on Pickup item that only you can pick up (such as Heroic Badges) you'll no longer see the confirmation dialog. One less pop-up to deal with, obviously you want your badges, AMIRITE?
Also when you loot a Bind of Pickup item the confirmation window is going to list the name of the item in the window. You'll be able to identify that you're getting the right items much easier now.
There are a few more but I won't ruin all the surprises.

Sweet.
How about a Trade window update like you did with lockpicking so that combines and enchants can be done through the window instead of having to hand someone mats and hope they don't rip you off?

On another note, since Drysc might actually read this thread:
Does Magister's Terrace provide any progression in difficulty from current five mans? The impression I get from random articles is that it will be no more difficult than the level 70 dungeons in normal or heroic mode.
Since it will drop substantially better loot, at least in heroic, I'm concerned that it will make the current heroics obsolete. That's a lot of content that's being made obsolete all at once.
I'm also still wishing that you guys would provide the next tier or two of difficulty in five mans. There are plenty of choices in nonheroic 70 dungeons, heroic dungeons, and heroic 70 dungeons right now. What we need is something more difficult than those, with commensurate rewards. How about making the heroic mode the same difficulty as ... well, the other part of Sunwell?

Since I'm feeling hopeful, is there any chance that we could get some info on attunments in 2.4?

Nice! It will certainly help save a few moments on a ZA timed run or prevent accidental looting when trying to get your badge on realms with a "pass on all BoPs" policy.
