We have a few changes planned for patch 2.4 that we'd like to share a little bit with you. First, all 25-player raid bosses will drop more gold and those who dropped set tokens will drop one additional token. Additionally, the the loot dropped by Doomlord Kazzak and Doomwalker has been changed to bind-on-equip. These two outdoor raid bosses will also drop much more gold than before as well.

Lastly, Scale of the Sands reputation will now be awarded in Hyjal at a much higher.

I hope if its 3 tokens per boss, it is one per token. Cause getting triple vanquisher would suck.
It would make good sence to make it one vanq. /conq. /defen. per kill.

Gold is nice.

However, for loot, set tokens aren't really the problem. They are the first loot that guilds stop needing. It's the random loot that's the problem, if you have bad luck.

Also, with 3 tokens/boss, will it still be random or will we be guaranteed one of each token?

I was worried that I wouldnt be able to get 5/5 resto balance and feral t6 by the expac. This news makes me feel better.

Just a thought, if three tokens will be dropping why not make one of each drop every time? Sort of like AQ40, just to stop the "qqlootisrandom" arguments about set pieces.

And what about those of us who's tier sets sucks and get hosed by bosses who drop tokens every week because they only drop 1/6 of their 'random' loot?

I agree partly, however if you think about it, the ratio of tokens to people went down going from Kara -> 25 man raids but the difficulty and (scheduling challenges) went up. This is a good change! (And I always felt bosses were too poor.)
