reading is one thing , comprehending is another.

Q u o t e:
It seems that blues never seem to visit class forums... if they do .. they dont post anything

it seems that once in a 'blue' moon (hence the play on words there :P) a blue will address a really random thing..

like... i think shaman forums need a look at :)

being serious lol

:)

Adding the word "lol" after serious tends to detract from your message, or confuse readers. It's similar to saying "being serious, not." Of course you sound like you are being serious. What would a blue post in the shaman forum say?

I'd venture to guess it would be something ambitious and vague, like "Blizzard is aware of the concerns of the Shaman community, and we have compiled and forwarded a list of those concerns to the developers. While we cannot promise any changes in the upcoming patch, please be aware that the Developers are always concerned with issues of class balance and are constantly reviewing and re-assessing class balance issues to keep the game fair and enjoyable for all players."

If you like you can copy my text to word or something and color it blue, because that's pretty much what it would say. If you don't like the class or envy another, re-roll. Every class has caveats, we have ours but we have a lot of great abilities too.

And this would be a great example as to why they don't go over there. No matter what they say, they'll get a responce like this.

ummm its not even viable that it will happen... he stated things that happens because of a blue's absence... do you reallly think we can say things that is anything close to that if there are blue's posting?

honestly... think before you write

shamans need help from the blues... and even jsut 1 post saying, the situation is being looked at ... or no the situation is not being looked at ... just something... not us hopelessly rambling on about the stuff that needs to be fixed (besides the fact that just about everything) ...

when you talk to someone in person.. u expect a response.. especially if u ask questions and statements that need responses... they dont just sit there and listen to you... people get frustrated with that...

Like many other things going on right now, we have several projects in the works. We get to the class forums when we can, but do alot more reading than posting generally.

Perhaps an MVP per class for those forums?

Course... I can see that turning into a disaster fast considering the hate in some of those...

It also seem that most of the blue post seem to clutter upon the general forum. Like you rarely see blues on the raid forums, PVP forum (i can understand why there) and anything other.

Why do the blues seem to focus the posting to the general boards?

being serious lol... thats kinda my way of saying... im being completely serious that its funny... because im not the serious type of person...

but thx for nagging on 3 letters :) well done flame...

but i do agree with what u said... but isnt that better than the blue just reading your post and moves on? like if they wrote the word Ok. i would be satisfied... because then i KNOW they are listening... and which encourages players to atleast attempt to address all issues ... in hope of some of them being fixed... because in a society like ours...

a list of problems is made... and a percentage is fixed... never all of them...
so the bigger the list... the problems possible of fixing...

So has someone actually read the Shaman feedback thread that was created so long ago and never attended to? I only ask because I don't want a repeat of what happened before our review, where our feedback wasn't received until it was too late.

And seriously, can you guys PLEASE trouble Kalgan to pop his head in there and say something about the intentions behind the Shaman class? the Shaman forum is STILL the only forum he's never posted in to talk about the class. It's pretty ridiculous...

Thanks for all you do Neth!

You do realize people will drop 100's of dollars an hour to go to a psychologist, and for the most part all they do is sit there and listen to you.

EDIT: Apparently the-r-apist is too close to a different word.

i was speaking in generality... not in situations... yes such as an interview... the interviewer will speak very little... i recognize the fact that there are these situations... but this is not the situation so dont make it seem like one...

The feedback threads have been read and continue to be read for any additions. We've also been taking notes.

Some class forums have some pretty clear consensus on what they feel is lacking or could be made better and some classes are a bit more varied in their thoughts and ideas. If you haven't read some of the different class threads, (and only if you're curious), give them a read.

-English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

besides that., class forums should be used more for talking about the class, asking for help with a class, or discussing strategies/rotations etc.

not 100% for complaining what isnt good enough

i think everyone would react positivley just to seeing blue text in their class forums, then they wouldnt have any reason to say gms dont care about said class, or never take time to read it...

just prove to them you read it and they'll stop i think

Coming from a druid I find this very funny. I dont know how long you have played a druid but at one point druids were really bad. NoW they seem to be the FotM. If you think shaman are fine you really need to rethink it..

Blueberry shaman, please make sure you squeeze your heads before posting the pressure must be terrible.

Dear Stuffyz,

If I was flaming you it would be something like this:

I cannot read Mudpeople language what did he say?

If they just typed the word "K" chaos would ensue. People would demand the meaning of "K". Is "K" positive, is "K" negative? What is the subtext of "K". Priests would come over from the priest forum and demand an answer if this was indeed a sign of an incoming priest nurf. "K" leaves too much open for imagination, neutral statements are artistic constructs, languages ponderous ability to placate and satisfy without actually offering anything. If they said "K" all he11 would break lose.

Hmm, since you undoubtedly know what my personal agenda is here, I hope you can't blame me for wondering which of the two categories you posted here the Shaman falls into... I've also been around here long enough to understand that you're probably not going to answer that either :)

I appreciate the response and assurance that it's been read - I can only hope that the reading actually produces real results this time.

Oh, and one last time... *hands you a [Scroll of Summon Kalgan to the Shaman Forums]*. Pretty please with wax on top?
