In duels, I've never lost to a mage. I can out heal their damage and outlast their mana. Nothing is more funny than seeing the mages get branch slapped silly.

Agreed. My guild's Resto Druid has always put out more than enough healing to keep us up in 5-mans, and in raids, his DoTs are excellent at keeping the tanks alive while the main healers are casting their massive GHeals.

It's a great specc, really, and there's no way we would progress at our speed if we didn't have our Druid. I can't speak for PvP viability though.

That my be true, but the priest spamming flash heals or the pally spamming FoL would have the same problems.. druids don't generate MORE threat simply because they are druids, threat = healing done / 2 no matter who you are.

If anything, druids get the advantage of letting Lifebloom bloom for a 2k-ish heal GIVING the tank threat.

My main point is this: I can heal well, just as good as any other class healers in my guild, however, if somehow i am atked, (it happens to the best of us from time to time) i cant fade, i cant earthbind totem, i cant bubble, all i can do is slowly slink towards the tank, so the dmg reduction would be helpful

My thought on this would be to make the bark we do have last longer, Maybe like 5 mins, as most of the pally buffs are 5 mins. it kinda sucks being feral to pop out every 30 secs to get bark on. *Not that i do it* but if i were it sure would suck for energy factors.

I'm more afraid of Resto druids than Feral druids.


Bark > Bite

Hoping for Remove Curse, Remove Poison, Barkskin and yes... Healing Touch. MotW/GotW and Thorns would be nice too but I can live without it. I don't understand the argument not to allow these abilities. If you spec full Resto for ToL you give up a lot of versatility you should be a darn good healer and be able to cleanse and drop a big heal if you need to.

My Druid is 66 and a half, heading for Resto at 70, hurry up Blizz. :)

I'm going to jump ahead of the inevitable transition and say the tree form should have stealth and tanking capabilities.
