Have transmutes been fixed in patch 2.3.2, please?

As posted by Pavonum in the Customer Service Forum WoW Forums -> 4 weeks without a Master Trans proc :
As of the 2.3 content patch, there's currently an issue with Transmutation Mastery by which the percentage chance to receive additional results from transmutations — aside from Transmute: Primal Might — is lower than the intended value. This is likely contributing to the dearth of procs you've observed, and I'd like to offer my apologies for any consternation that has arisen as a result of the discrepancy. I'm happy to report that this matter should be resolved in a future patch, but your continued patience in the interim is appreciated.

(No fix was mentioned in the 2.3.2 patch notes)

/cheers

Yes Sebastos transmute mastery has been fully fixed in 2.3.2 This was a change that didn't make it into the patch notes.

If you encounter any problems with transmutes please post them here.

Hortus, would you mind posting/ stickying this in the profession forums as well to prevent several more "is transmute mastery fixed yet?" threads? The professions forum would be much appreciative.

It would be nice if they would post this kind of stuff some where, you know?

This has deeply affected alot of toons and was anxiously being awaited to be fixed for a pretty long time already. How did it miss patch notes?

No offense Hortus, but I'll believe it's been fixed when I see a proc :)

I'll keep in touch ;)

I wonder if you could take a quick look at the patch notes published, and see if anything else got left out that should have been in there ?

Thanks...

Are we going to have any compensation for all the wasted transmutes over the past several weeks? Worst bug ever but thanks for finally fixing it.

Probably not, as it was only a partial bug. Primal Might transmutes were unaffected by this, and so you could have used your cooldown on that for procs while saving your other kinds of transmutes until after the fix.

Besides, if they're not willing to do retro fixes to pvp gear (aka no resilience on Ret sets for S1 and S2), that they're going to give you any compensation for something you had a choice to use or not use?

With the exception that it took 2 months+ of xmute masters complaining about the non-procs for them to even admit that they broke it in the first place and I'm sure there are still ppl who didn't even know xmute was broken. Of course it would be impossible to retroactively compensate xmute masters for wasted mats and time but an admission of the bug in the first place would be nice since knowing is half the battle.

Seriously, WOW is such an awesome place to meet "diverse" people... from the genious to the "gifted".

No longer needed: (link to Armory was here)

Well, this kind of bug can be hard to detect, as the actual sample size is quite low.

Each character only can test is once every 24 hrs, and it had a low percentage to begin with.

All I've learned from this game is that if the fate of the world depends on 25 random people clicking on cubes at the same time, we're pretty much hosed.

My diamond didn't proc last night. So the streak goes on >.<

There should be some compensation, even if its just a guaranteed proc for the next 2 or 3 days, anything would be nice.

We [the xmuting community] were stating that something was wrong for a long time while people continued to flame us for not going elixir or pot spec or the famous "working as intended" bullcrap was trying to be shoved down our throats.

Then we wait several more weeks for a fix (which I have yet to experience).

/still a little disgusted over the whole situation

To the person who said we should have just been making mights ever since.........I would like to ask why. Why should we waste gold on that loosing xmute? Mats are more expensive than what anyone is willing to pay for the might xmute.

Pft. If I had kept a list, it would be longer. Sometimes I have to double check my spell book just to convince myself that I am still a xmute master =P

Second week of december is when i decided to keep track in text instead of mentally. January 6th is when I read that Primal Might was working "as normal". Back to Earth --> Air, I guess, or maybe Mana --> Fire.

As compensation, I demand my next 10 transmutes auto-proc at x5. Thanks.
