Does anyone else find it ridiculous that you need exactly 10 or exactly 25 people to raid? Unless you are overgeared for the raid, in which case you shouldn't be going anyway.
But if your progression level is right, you cant do it with less than X players, and any more than X players have to sit out. Am I the only one that thinks this is completely stupid? Shouldn't games be designed so that everyone can play?

Yes would be cool if the whole horde side could go raid different instances but they want us to form different cliques to cause turmoil with the different guilds and progress slower.

That makes no sense at all.

What I'm saying is there should be some kind of scaling in place (to a small extent), to allow you to bring fewer or more people if you need. Even if its just a few I think it would improve the raid experience drastically. Can you imagine being able to raid every week without the pain in the ass of figuring out who sits out and who gets to come? No more fighting over raid spots? *gasp* might actually make it more enjoyable...

But lets not think about that, lets make fun of everyone who posts on the forums no matter how logical their post is.

Please enlighten me why my idea is wrong, flawed, or however you're seeing it in your head instead of just saying it makes no sense at all.

1. The whole horde side in 1 instance would crash the servers.

2. I highly doubt they want to cause guild drama on purpose

3. Causing drama isnt the way to make people progress slower. It would only make some people progress slower.

Sorry but that quote from your original post is what sparked the idea but yet you said it makes no sense at all.

Q u o t e:
Even back in the hallowed early days of MMO's when you could bring 300 people,
It was still only 10 good players in the heart of it carrying the rest of you scrubs.

Those times are gone now, forever.

Get over it.

And yet you still don't acknowledge the other 290 that were helping that's usually how most WoW Raiders/Guild Masters act in this game.

The game is not flawed. People are.

The game says: Kara is for 10 people. Gruul, Mag, SSC... are for 25. 5mans are for 5...

How is this flawed?

If you had 25 people show up every raid on time, then you would not need extra players. You need extra players because sometimes people don't show up.

Heck, if WoW is flawed because a guild needs to have more players than 25 to run raids, then I guess every single sport is flawed because they require bench warmers, every single company is badly managed because they have slightly more staff than they actually need and so on.

This shouldn't be compared with sports or businesses it's about war and survival. The only reason it's locked down to a set amount is cause they don't want to waste their time and our money scripting it for different amounts of players.

When did they claim it would be like that? Never. You are asking the game to be something it was never meant to be.

When they made the game, they decided this is how this instance is going to be. That's what we offer and it is what you pay for. You are not the first one to suggest that instances scale with the amount of players in the party/raid. The posts that did get a blue response about this were always the same:

It is a complicated thing to do and that is not how we decided to proceed.

It isn't like that though. The instances are designed for those amounts.... you know what ? Fark it

lolwut?

Do you want to not be able to DPS at all without pulling aggro? Enhancement shamans hump the line like 16 year olds already.

I believe that on the lower level raids you should be able to bring less people, because if you can do it with that many people go for it. Take for example UBRS you dont really need 10 people a good group of 5 mid 60s could run through that with no problem. I ran it the other day with a raid group and it was mostly 5 of us doing the work and the other 5 sitting back bored because we "had to have 10 people."

edit. Now bringing more on the other hand is just ridiculously retarded.
