We will be offering free character moves from selected high population realms to other, lower populated realms to assist in population dispersal. The ability to move a character on the selected source realms will become available on Friday, December 21 at 12:01 PM PST, and are scheduled to run until Friday, December 28 at 12:01 PM PST.
In the event that a realm meets our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to that realm will be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience.
The realms chosen consist of source realms with the highest sustained queues, and destination realms with the lowest population. The numbers gathered are directly from our data, and depict the realms in most need of these transfers. We will be continuing to monitor all realms and open additional free transfers in the future where necessary.

Question: Why are you giving free transfers off these servers while still allowing people to transfer to them? Mal'ganis was on your list a week ago and a few days ago numerous people transfered to Mal'ganis...

It's funny,,, I know people that are specifically going to these realms because they are on these lists so they know that they are transferring to a server that is healthy and will not wind up in the sad state ours did.
Onyxia is alot like that cousin you have. He isn't that smart and your family thinks he's gay, but damnit he's fun to be around.

These are PvP realms on the list. Maybe when they do some PvE realms although the only one I know off hand that has queues is Aerie Peak, but there could be more.
On the other hand, I found the Illidan to Azshara thing amusing in a lore way.

Does this have anything to do with the major problem in the Stormstrike battlegroup? I believe some if not all of these realms are in that battlegroup.
