It's that time of year when all of Azeroth celebrates Winter Veil. The snowballs are flying and so are the reindeer. To help everyone get into the spirit, we are running two holiday contests!
The Royal Photographic Society of Azeroth has begun looking for the best depictions of holiday celebrations in the World of Warcraft, so keep your eyes open for good screenshot opportunities.
It's also time to show off your culinary skills. We're looking for your cakes, candies, cookies, and gingerbread houses of your best Warcraft-, StarCraft, or Diablo- inspired creations. We'll be picking five winners for the best cakes, five winners for the best candies or cookies, and five winners for the best gingerbread houses.
YES!!! US only (minus 2 states). Thanks again Blizzard for being lazy and not wanting to do a bit of extra paperwork so you could include a majority of your player base!
If stabbin' folks is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.
its standard english for a list of hyphenated words. instead of "Warcraft-inspired, StarCraft-inspred and Diablo-inspired", it becomes "Warcraft-, StarCraft-, and Diablo- inspired." The first part of the word keeps the hypen in each case
Actually in this case I think there are hyphens because it can be inspired by any of the warcraft or diablo games, and there's only one starcraft, hence no hyphen.

No.

Yes, except the last one should have no space in the blue post. "Diablo-inspired." And it should also be "Starcraft-" with the hyphen.
It has nothing to do with how many games there are. It's English.
I've gotten to the point where I personally don't care anymore, and often don't bother even GLANCING at the contests, cause I know the first line in the rules will be, same as always:
Q u o t e: "THIS CONTEST IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING THE STATES OF FLORIDA AND RHODE ISLAND)"
Drop me an email when you actually hold a contest that residents of anywhere ELSE in the world, especially New Zealand can enter in.
