In response to Blizzard's recent ban on guild recruitment spam, I've had to become more creative in my search for mature, competitive and analytical people who love PvP. I've linked my banner ad to this thread because more than thirty people have taken the time to share their experiences and opinions of me. By reading what they have to say, you should gain an understanding of my accomplishments as well as an idea of who I am. If you enjoy PvP and believe you'd like to fight under my banner, please come to forums of www.gunpowderandmagic.com or look through the links at the bottom of this post.

I used the WoW forums to avoid any accusations of me using alts or faking posts; it takes an active account to post and, unlike the guild website, I have no admin rights here. If you still have doubts, consider that this post has been up for a month and the first accusation of inauthenticity did not come until post #75, three weeks after this thread began, from someone on another server. As of today, no one from Bleeding Hollow has made the same assertion, credible or otherwise.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my guild.

Marshal's posts:

Post #3: Draeke (Grand Marshal); has two other Grand Marshals, a priest and a rogue
Post #15: Warfield (Grand Marshal)
Post #18: Demonsire (Grand Marshal); posting using an alt
Post #19: Lonewolf (Grand Marshal); posting using an alt
Post #30: Movac (Field Marshal)

Q u o t e:
I'm thinking about founding a guild. Before I decide to move forward, I'm going to see how much interest I can generate in a PvP guild off-server. In order to establish credibility, I've asked friends to post here on my ability to lead PvP raids as well as what they think of me as a person. Combined with clear explanations of my plans for the guild, I'm hoping to attract PvPers here to Bleeding Hollow.

I'm not recruiting yet but if you'd like to read about my ideas, you can do so here: http://www.gunpowderandmagic.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=8

I just want to give my recommendation on Igniferroque. He's a great guy and very helpful. Everyone pretty much knows I PvP alot and teamed up with hundreds of players on Alliance side. From my experience Igni is a very good leader and was practically the founder of the original AB "A" team by drawing some of the best Ally PvP'ers at the time into one cohesive force. I learned alot when I was in his raids back in the day and I still use a few of his techinques that he used back then to augment my own.

If you like to PvP I would recommend joining up with Igni's guild in the future. When he is committed to something he goes 100% into it. If I wasn't a Guild Master myself I would consider joining his guild.

Good luck Ig.

Q u o t e:
But would you accept me!?

I'd have to get to know you a little more Igy.

Probably about 18 months ago now, Lanky used to post here with stupid amounts of wasted words. I assumed he was an idiot. Then he joined an AB vent of ours one day and started talking about EC's mathematical analysis on the optimal amount of + chance to hit with spells. I had such difficulty associating vent speaker's intelligence with the forumcrafter's words, I said out loud in vent twice "Wait a minute, you're Lanky?"

Needless to say, I don't prejudge forumcrafters anymore. So, I'd try to figure out whether you're an intellectual just trying to entertain yourself or simply another forumcrafter.

<previous verbiage modified and clarification added>

This applies to everyone, but especially Igy, all Horde and anyone on a PvE server who wouldn't be able to transfer their mains:

I will consider your application - even if you have to reroll as a level 1- if you can demonstrate to me that you're a mature, competitive, analytical PvPer.

Note, however, that these qualities are a height requirement; it only means you'd have a chance, it doesn't mean you'll get in.

Above and beyond those things, tell me how you'll bring stability to this guild, how you'll help build it, how you'll help grow it. Tell me your great, amazing qualities that I don't even know to ask about. I'm looking for people who make things happen for themselves and for others; we want leaders in this guild.

well great thing is that you could probably start off a solid arena team with a very small core and slowly build it up over time, so level of interest can still be low to get the thing off the ground :D

Also, you'd have to get a second account, but you could always roll an alt and join me that way. I'm recruiting based on quality of person and their love of PvP, not gear, level or even faction. I'm of the opinion that if you gather talented people, who are all willing to try and get along with each other, great things will happen spontaneously.

Of course, I haven't determined whether there's enough interest in a PvP guild to move forward yet, but this thread will hopefully be one method by which I generate that interest.

Hah! I am flattered. I'll keep it simple and brief for now with the following points:

1. Lol hi Bleeding Hollow you are all scrubz! kthx

2. Igni has done an extensive array of research over on the elitistjerk's boards regarding "best practices" for his new Guild. He is thorough, clearly dedicated to establishing a successful TBC PvP presence, and he has the time and resources to dedicate to leading such a force.

3. He asked me (wtf?) for advice on a guild's priorities. I told him "to have fun together, and success hopefully equals fun", he listened. GM's that listen are a good thing.

4. Igni is good at PvP organization, Q.E.D

5. Look past the method at the man. If you find intensive min/maxing slightly grating, you don't want to PvP with Igni. If, on the otherhand, you value that kind of efficiency and strategic approach, then his guild is the place for you.

Best Regards BH:
♥Lanky

I haven't had the pleasure of playing with Igni but I know for a fact that he makes incredibly well written analytical posts, and overall seems to be a very intelligent person.

I wish you gl with your guild =)

I met Igniferroque many months ago when the battle over Alterac Valley began. Alliance forces were struggling to hold back the horde which was being lead by an orcish commander known as "Deroth". Things were bleak in those early days, many battles were lost and many fled the field in despair when they heard that Deroth's hordes were on the march. I too was not hopeful for victory in these days, but I refused to leave until the bitter conclusion was played out. The alliance needed a Champion and a it needed a leader.

Fortunately, that day had come.

This stern Dwarf priest named Igniferroque, who I had met in passing weeks before, roused the battered defenders of the alliance, picking from its ranks those most able to fight the horde. Noteworthy mages, paladins, and warlocks including Arsine, Movac, and Demonsire, served under Commander Igniferroque and lead the alliance to several victories on the Field of Strife. Eventually, I was recruited into this army and bore witness to the blade-like prescision of an organized alliance attack.

As months passed, the resources of Arathi Basin became contested. Commander Igniferroque gathered his most skilled of champions from the Alterac Valley army to ensure that the vital resources of the Basin would remain in alliance hands. This was a time that I did bask in the glory of the alliance.

The rest, as they say, is history...

To those who would seek success and are looking for a new home, I would recommend joining a guild lead by Igni. He is a focused, analytical, and driven leader. A word of warning though. He does not tolerate anything less than 100% effort, and rightfully so, as that is what it takes to achieve victory over the many forces that would stand in your way in this world.

Good luck with the new guild, Igni.

Q u o t e:
I still have a screenshot from one of deroth's raids, in which we faught the A-Team and no one could win, so we had a 5v5 in the middle, horde coming out the victors.

If i wasn't so lazy i would find it and host it

I still remember that fight quite vividly.

This is Demonsire btw, I am having some forum trouble logging in :P

It was a stalemate, and a 5v5 was called out. Watching from SF and listening on vent, Ian was the first guy to go down, and the alliance team was winning. However, a battle res brought ian back in the game and in the end the alliance lost that 5v5 since galwen went down first on our side, thus not allowing a battle res.

Either way, Igniferroque has been a huge contributor to pvp on this server with aid through Ventrillo. When Gladius and Cruise lead, igni was not very far behind. In fact after the AV wars ended with the coming of Arathi Basin, he let the Sanfransico Group (Later known as the A team, but we never cared for that name) use his ventrillo service where dozens of people came for a chance to enter the joint raid of Arsine/Galwen composed of BoP, EC, Reverence, Stone and Steel, Ethereal, Nemesis, and so many others that went under this raid's banner. (Movac was there too, but the guy was too lazy to lead, besides he liked shouting and eating white castle which is why we loved him) Later on after he hit rank 13, he continued to let people come and use his ventrillo including the sister raid which Emeyin formed under Surrel about 2 months later. Igni was also a supplier of arm's in grenades and pots in which he helped the team get ready for the battles with Sock Puppets and TA. (Even flasks of supreme power when Arsine needed CP, we let him drop the group in AB and I followed him around and feared/CoE and watched while the most amazing numbers back in the day popped up alliance side. A rank 13 mage with supreme flasks and every other buff out there was a site to behold, when people were still trying to compelte blue sets)

Perhaps if there was ever a shadow priest allowed to go shadow form ever, it was igni due to his contributions and mentality. Sure, he can sound like a weirdo sometimes, (And imo, he really is a weirdo) but he will get things done. It was definitly a different world back then, but warlocks still own everything out there including lolshadow (LEARN TO HEALZ!) :)

Good luck with the guild igni, it will do great come expansion.

Demonsire~~

P.S. Igy for President will never beat me. ;)

And neither will Hoggbert, cuaz...he's a dumb dwarf warrior.

RIGHT HOGGBERT?!?!?
