We already have so many CCs, some make you run like crazy, some make you recover health, some make you imune to all attacks, we even have a Mind Control ability. Why not an ability to make others attack only hit you? 1sec, 6sec, put into it a DR.

Will it break PvP? I doubt. In fact it will create the possibility for tanks in PvP, so blizz can put PvP tank gear there (so tanks won't be the only ones without free epics) and there might be more tanks in looking for group channel.

What do you guys think?

They refuse to let taunt make someone lose control of their character. 0.o

What? You can already taunt in PvP, as well as PvE and such.

Just type /taunt into you box and you'll taunt your victim. That should get them after you! :3

It is a great idea.

However, Blizzard is set in their ways that prot specced players must be absolutely miserable in that spec doing anything other than tanking. So it won't happen.

i support this. or at least something similar. pve spec warriors should be able to pvp without having to respec.

I think it would screw rogues and cat druids pretty hard without any KY. If it wasn't for the cat druids, I would say "go for it".

lol. Actually, that does work. /smell and /rude also works as taunts.

Personally as a hunter I would hate this, as it would just give warriors another advantage over us if they get to melee. But I can agree with making prot viable in PvP(sort of).

It might have been a good idea, if implemented two years ago.

It'd be stupid to make such a change right now. Warriors would need a compensatory nerf in some other aspect, and the QQ/unhappyness by warriors would be deafening.

My main idea is:

1) Make Tank specs viable for PvP ->
2) Make pvp gear (free purples) for tanks (there is already for everyone else) ->
3) Make there appear tanks in LFG again \o/

Maybe we'll need make solo grind worth more as well.
But I don't think blizz can just let it like this >.>
