We will be offering free character moves from selected high population realms to other, lower populated realms to assist in population dispersal. The ability to move a character on the selected source realms will become available on Thursday, December 6 at 12:01 PM PDT, and are scheduled to run until Thursday, December 13 at 12:01 PM PDT.
In the event that a realm meets our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to that realm will be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience.
The realms chosen consist of source realms with the highest sustained queues, and destination realms with the lowest population. The numbers gathered are directly from our data, and depict the realms in most need of these transfers. We will be continuing to monitor all realms and open additional free transfers in the future where necessary.

Just curious, why not extremely low to medium population.
This is a 200 character signature, including all spaces and punctuation. As you can see, 200 characters is very long. So long, in fact, that it is harder to make exactly 200 characters than I thought.
Oh my god, another update, and still nothing for Onyxia.

I think it can be safely said that Blizzard knows more about realm populations than you. They're offering transfers off the highest to the lowest; your server is obviously not one of the lowest. Just think, there are realms that are worse off than you.
Also, this might just be the first phase in filling up a few of the low pop realms. We may very well see some of the unmentioned realms used in the future.
