Q u o t e:

Magic came later?

So summoning Water Elementals and Daemons and scorpions and spiders wasn't magic?

It was but not to the intensity in warcraft 3

They got tired of that idea after BWL.

GO GO POWER RANGERS

this

Although, some of the Naxx gear was pretty sweet.

I sure hope whom ever created the AQ40 gear was fired.

Q u o t e:

No. That's what people wore in battle in midieval times. Deal with it.

Have you seen most of the items in this game? Some may look cool but there's no way they would be at all functional in real combat.

Weapons and items will be suitable for the expansion and like anything else will be designed to fit within the expansion.

Beyond that, I couldn't guarantee a trend toward "good" items so much as say that items serve the purpose they are given whether it is good or evil. Not every hero carries a gleaming sword that shines like the sun. Some have carried things that seemed counter to their very nature and yet still succeeded in achieving their lofty goals for a better end.

For now, we'll have to wait and see what the artists have cooked up when the time comes.

Q u o t e:
Because weapons are used for the act of murder. I guess a holy warrior can use shiny paladin warhammers or not at all and just heal with his yellow glowy orbs. Or they can always give them a huge holy staff

All of the Warcraft lore art show Paladins with righteous looking warhammers. Instead, the majority of decent ones we find in WoW have spikes, skulls, and deathly looking fog coming out of them.

Nethergarde bitter... you know you want it.

Duh. That's why the items level 1-40 are the most functional. But who wants to wear those?

I'm tired of seeing druids with [Bringer of Death]. That just looks wrong.

Sainttweak the Noisebringer, Axe of Mulgrimmar.

They are not welfare epics. They are salvation epics. They saved me from having to deal with raiding guilds to get my gear.

So, expect a rehash of all the weapons we're already used to seeing only with different colors?

Q u o t e:
I haven't killed Illidan yet because I'm still reading your post.

Well... there's always hammer of naaru, shard of virtuous, and merciless season 2 healing mace. I mean there really isn't that much Naxx-looking gear

Don't you mean Artist? As in singular?

Because I find it extremely difficult to believe that it took more than one or an entire team to come up with palette-swapping old gear models.

How about a little less talking and a little more SHUT THE HELL UP
